Return and Starting Posts for Stairs
Return Posts Stavros - a profitable investment in beautiful and reliable stairs. In tandem with balusters they form the basis of artistic-decorative design and perform important load-bearing functions:
- provide support for balustrades and ensure the stability of the stair structure;
- serve as the basis for handrails.
For safe operation, stair posts are usually mounted to the floor, installed strictly vertically. The required number of support posts is calculated individually, taking into account their location, design, and configuration of the specific staircase.
Starting Posts for Stairs are divided into two types based on manufacturing method:
- simple turned shapes, made using turning technology.
- carved items with complex silhouettes and rich decorative detailing, handmade or made on a CNC milling machine.
Our company has been producing and selling stair components made from solid oak, beech, and ash since 2002. The collection includes more than 40 types of wooden carved posts, including popular styles as well as exclusive Stavros designs:
- Universal turned items without carving for compact square staircases
- Twisted and fluted columns
- Luxurious models for large grand staircases in the styles of Classicism, Baroque, and Empire
- Expressive shaped posts, richly adorned with acanthus and floral patterns
- Minimalist geometric variants with square and round sections for modern projects
- Posts in the form of lion sculptures
- Details with left and right hand rotation
All posts have optimal height and thoughtfully designed handrail return. Suitable for interior staircases, for arranging outdoor verandas and terraces. Many models are designed in combination with suitable finials, simplifying the selection of additional decorative elements.
The catalog features the full range of Stavros posts made from premium wood species. We also offer custom design services for items of your required dimensions, provided a minimum order quantity is met. Delivery throughout Russia and the CIS countries via transportation companies.
Choosing staircase components is a key moment in creating the ideal architectural image of your home. Our decorative posts not only perform important structural functions but are also exquisite architectural elements capable of transforming any space. From turned to carved, each post in our collection is a masterful execution of staircase components, ensuring safety and adding aesthetic value to your interior. At Stavros, we strive for each element to be not merely part of the staircase, but a manifestation of the uniqueness and style of your home.
