The C-042 card already solves the key configuration task: it fixes three elements and their sizes. For the buyer, this is more important than the general decor description, because the same SKU of an individual overlay can exist in several dimensions.

The overall dimensions of the kit itself are 436 × 117 × 15 mm. It cannot be obtained by simply adding the first dimensions of the individual overlays. If you add 215 + 215 + 85, you get 515 mm, but this does not mean that card C-042 is incorrect. The components form a composition according to the drawing, and their relative positions cannot be reconstructed by simple arithmetic based on A.

Therefore, for the facade, the drawing C-042 and the overall dimensions of the composition are used first, while for purchasing, the list of included articles and specific size options are used.

Wooden carved overlay N-433L: why 160 mm is not the size of the part from C-042

N-433L currently has two size variants:

In the C-042 configuration, the second option is used — 215 × 81 × 15 mm. Therefore, the phrase "order N-433L" is insufficient. Even the exact article number does not determine the required modification.

The danger arises when a purchaser opens a separate product card and focuses on the first selected size. The price of 1,300 ₽ for the beech "Standard" looks more attractive than 2,140 ₽, but this is the price of the smaller N-433L. For C-042, the 215 mm variant is specifically needed.

The correct line for the bill of materials:

Wooden carved overlay N-433R: the right part also needs to be switched to 215 mm

The situation with N-433R is mirrored. The card contains 160 × 60 × 11 and 215 × 81 × 15 mm, and for C-042 the large variant is needed.

The left and right parts have the same dimensional specification, but they are different part numbers. You cannot buy two N-433L instead of a pair of L/R just because the dimensions match: the mirror symmetry of the shape is part of the composition.

You also cannot mix modifications, for example N-433L 215 mm with N-433R 160 mm. The familiar part numbers will remain in the cart, but the composition will no longer be C-042 according to the original specification.

This does not mean that the set is already painted. And it does not mean that when purchasing independently, you can ignore the "lamination quality" field.

In the separate specification, N-433L, N-433R, and N-108 must have the same execution recorded for future finishing. If the designer changes the finish from opaque enamel to translucent tinting, the specification must be revised before payment, not after receiving the parts.

• same material;
• same sanding quality;
• the same specification for finishing;
• integrity of edges and carved relief.

Then apply the elements to the paper template or facade layout. Here again, you cannot add 215 + 215 + 85 and try to get the composition width. The layout must match drawing C-042.

If one element of incorrect size is detected before finishing, it is easier to replace. After primer, enamel, and installation, the error turns into rework of the entire decorative unit.

Installation of wooden overlays C-042: which related product does the card show

Another stop signal is an undefined finish. If the project currently specifies opaque enamel, but the customer is considering a transparent or semi-transparent coating, the quality of the re-lamination should be agreed upon before payment.

When purchasing separately, an order cannot be placed if at least one card is left on the "default" option. First, manually select 215 mm for N-433L, 215 mm for N-433R, and 85 mm for N-108, then the material and sanding.

On the control facade, not only beauty is checked. It is necessary to ensure that the actual N-433L and N-433R are mirrored, N-108 is on the specified axis, the composition does not conflict with the handle and working clearances, and the selected enamel looks the same on all three elements.

After the sample is approved, the specification is "frozen." For the series, dimensions are not selected anew, but approved lines are copied: 215 × 81 × 15, 215 × 81 × 15, and 85 × 91 × 13 mm.

If production requires six sets, the control sample can be included in the final quantity only if it will actually go into the finished product. It should not be automatically counted as a seventh set.
