On the drawing, everything looks simple: one straight decorative line runs along the wall from edge to edge. On site, arithmetic comes into play. The chosen molding MLDPU-002 measures 22 × 11 × 2600 mm, and the wall length is 2750, 3000, or 3200 mm. One plank is no longer enough. The length of 2600 mm itself is neither good nor bad. It simply sets the purchase module. As long as all sides of the frames are shorter than 2600 mm, the task mainly comes down to rational cutting. As soon as at least one side is 2700–3000 mm, a longitudinal joint on a straight line appears.

First, distribute all long sides. Short ones get material from the remaining parts.
The most valuable remainder is a long one.
A 1800–2200 mm offcut can cover an entire side of a large frame.
Ten offcuts of 150–200 mm have the same total length, but much lower project value.
