For one room, three pieces are designed: a cabinet, a console, and a table. Their bodies are different, and the height of the finished furniture will also differ, but the base is intended to be assembled in a single visual language. The MN-221 has a rare advantage for this: one turned pattern is available in seven standard heights A, from 213 to 900 mm.
This does not mean that 213 mm is automatically "for a cabinet," 740 mm "for a table," and 900 mm "for a tall console." The height of each version is chosen after calculating the body, tabletop, mounting, and the finished item's final level. But once these dimensions are determined, a single MN-221 allows assembling several order lines of one article instead of three random models with different styling.
The correct purchasing logic is as follows: item list → calculation of the required support height for each body → selection of the nearest standard A of MN-221 → checking the mounting joint → material → quantity → overall series specification. This sequence protects against a situation where the order states "MN-221, beech, 12 pcs." but the manager does not understand which of the seven sizes are needed.
Turned furniture leg MN-221: seven sizes of one article
As of September 8, 2026, the MN-221 card shows seven versions. In all rows, A changes, while the published B, D, and E remain 109, 32, and 32 mm. Without a drawing, there is no need to rename D or E into a mounting size, spike diameter, or another structural value — for ordering, it is sufficient to use the manufacturer's designations.
| A × B × D × E, mm | Beech, "Prestige" | Oak, "Prestige" |
|---|---|---|
| 213 × 109 × 32 × 32 | 3 570 ₽ | 4 890 ₽ |
| 321 × 109 × 32 × 32 | 4 850 ₽ | 6 850 ₽ |
| 429 × 109 × 32 × 32 | 6 140 ₽ | 8 820 ₽ |
| 536 × 109 × 32 × 32 | 7 360 ₽ | 10 720 ₽ |
| 644 × 109 × 32 × 32 | 8 600 ₽ | 12 630 ₽ |
| 740 × 109 × 32 × 32 | 9 870 ₽ | 14 480 ₽ |
| 900 × 109 × 32 × 32 | 11 920 ₽ | 17 530 ₽ |
For current executions, the card indicates the "Prestige" finish and the quality of re-lamination "Under enamel". The average production time for a missing item made to order is 5–10 working days.
If the design is already approved, buy turned furniture leg MN-221 it is better after preparing the dimension list. You cannot select the required line only by a photo of the model: externally it is one series, commercially it is seven different executions by A.
Wooden legs for the furniture collection: first the item list, then the cart
The main mistake in serial purchasing is starting with the total number of legs. The phrase "the collection needs 16 supports" says nothing about how many of them should be 321 mm high, how many 536 mm, and how many 740 mm.
First, an item list is created.
| Item | Number of items | Required finished height of the furniture | Height of the body without legs | Selected A MN-221 | Legs per item | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cabinet | ___ | ___ | ___ | ___ | ___ | ___ |
| Console | ___ | ___ | ___ | ___ | ___ | ___ |
| Table | ___ | ___ | ___ | ___ | ___ | ___ |
The columns "furniture finished height" and "body height without legs" are fundamental. They prevent guessing A from the item name.
The simplified design formula looks like this:
required visible/mounting height of the support = design height of the finished item − everything that already forms the height of the body and top part − structural adjustments of the attachment point.
The last term cannot be invented in advance. In one design, the leg adjoins the bottom plane of the body; in another, there is a stretcher, frame, mounting plate, or partial recessing.
After filling in this table, it becomes clear which specific wooden furniture legs need to be added to the cart.
Our factory also produces:
MN-221 A=213 mm: do not order the "shortest" just because of the word "cabinet"
The buyer easily develops an automatic association: the short version of 213 mm means a leg for a cabinet. But the card does not assign this size to a specific type of body.
Two cabinets of the same width can have completely different architectures: one is a tall body with a small clearance from the floor, the other is low and suspended in proportions but placed on noticeable turned supports. The height of the top, base, and internal frame also changes the result.
Therefore, the request Legs for chests useful as a thematic selection, not as a correspondence table of "furniture type → specific A".
For MN-221, you need to write:
MN-221 / A=213 / 213 × 109 × 32 × 32 mm / material / Prestige / Under enamel / quantity.
If the design calculation gave a different height, the cabinet gets a different standard MN-221 or a completely different construction. The item name should not dictate the size.

321, 429, or 536 mm: medium options cannot be mixed in one order line
When a series contains multiple bodies, a vague line is especially dangerous:
MN-221 / beech / 12 pcs.
From it, it is impossible to understand which 12 legs are needed. Even if they all belong to one collection, A=321, A=429, and A=536 are different product variants.
The correct specification separates them:
MN-221 / A=321 / beech / Prestige / Under enamel / ___ pcs.
MN-221 / A=429 / beech / Prestige / Under enamel / ___ pcs.
MN-221 / A=536 / beech / Prestige / Under enamel / ___ pcs.
The manager doesn't have to reconstruct the intent from comments like "short ones for the nightstand, medium ones for the console." And the furniture workshop will be able to distribute items to their orders immediately upon receipt.
The price is also calculated for each line separately. For example, one beech MN-221 A=321 costs 4,850 ₽, A=429 — 6,140 ₽, A=536 — 7,360 ₽. Summing up the quantity before choosing sizes is pointless because the lines have different costs.
MN-221 A=644, 740, and 900 mm: a tall size doesn't yet determine the purpose
With tall versions, the opposite error occurs: 740 mm is automatically called a dining table leg, and 900 mm — a bar counter support. The card doesn't confirm such a conclusion.
In furniture, not only the leg length matters. The height of the finished table is determined by the thickness of the tabletop, the apron or underframe, the mounting method, and the design of the entire frame. A console can have tall supports but a narrow body. Another item of the same height may require a completely different assembly.
Therefore, A=644, 740, and 900 mm are available standard sizes of MN-221, not ready-made purposes.
This is convenient for the designer: they can preserve the turning character when designing items of different scales. For the engineer, this is only a source catalog of dimensions from which the appropriate line is selected after calculation.
Why one article MN-221 is convenient for a nightstand, console, and table of the same series
The main value here is not that all items are "the same." On the contrary, they can differ in height, width, purpose, and construction.
The connection creates the repetitive nature of the turned profile. When one motif appears on a low and a high piece, the collection reads as related even with different bodies.
Compare the two approaches.
Option A: the cabinet gets one random carved leg, the console another, the table a third. Each piece may be good on its own, but the common language has to be assembled through color and material.
Option B: three pieces use MN-221 in different standard sizes that fit the project. The leg pattern becomes a recurring motif of the collection.
But visual unification does not negate construction. If MN-221 does not suit one piece in terms of height, attachment, or load scheme, there is no need to keep the article number at any cost. The series should remain furniture, not an exercise in matching parts.
Beech or oak: the material of the entire furniture series is better fixed at the same time
MN-221 is available in beech and oak. The price difference increases with height: for A=213, oak is 1,320 ₽ more expensive than beech per piece, for A=900 — already 5,610 ₽ more.
| A, mm | Difference oak − beech per 1 pc. |
|---|---|
| 213 | 1 320 ₽ |
| 321 | 2 000 ₽ |
| 429 | 2 680 ₽ |
| 536 | 3 360 ₽ |
| 644 | 4 030 ₽ |
| 740 | 4 610 ₽ |
| 900 | 5 610 ₽ |
For a collection, the material is better fixed before placing the first part of the order. If today the cabinet goes into production in beech, in a month the console is ordered in oak, and the table again in beech, one leg model no longer provides a fully unified material specification.
The current card shows the quality of the glue-up "Under enamel." This means a blank for opaque finishing, not a ready-made paint job. The color and finish of the furniture series need to be coordinated separately.
If the project is still selecting models, Buy wooden furniture legs you can choose from the category of unpainted wooden supports and compare other articles there.
"Prestige" for MN-221: there is currently no choice between two sanding options
For K-067 or some other STAVROS products, the buyer may see "Standard" and "Prestige" simultaneously. For MN-221, the current trade table shows "Prestige."
Therefore, in the specification, there is no need to write "Standard or Prestige — to be clarified." This would create a question that does not currently exist in the product card.
The manufacturer defines "Prestige" as detailed manual sanding, where the product does not require additional surface finishing. Before final finishing, standard incoming inspection is still needed: visual inspection after transportation, checking ends, mounting points, and surface condition.
For the buyer, the conclusion is simple: in all lines of the series, Prestige is fixed as long as the current product card does not show another available option.
How to prepare the MN-221 specification without a call asking "which exactly?"
A good order line should be understandable to a person who has not seen the design project.
Basic format:
MN-221 / A × B × D × E / beech or oak / Prestige / Under enamel / quantity.
For example, not as a recommendation for a specific item, but as a recording format:
MN-221 / 321 × 109 × 32 × 32 mm / beech / Prestige / Under enamel / 8 pcs.
MN-221 / 536 × 109 × 32 × 32 mm / beech / Prestige / Under enamel / 4 pcs.
MN-221 / 740 × 109 × 32 × 32 mm / beech / Prestige / Under enamel / 4 pcs.
This example only shows the mechanics of the list. It does not state that 321 mm should be placed on a cabinet, 536 mm on a console, and 740 mm on a table.
If these three lines were indeed selected by the project, their cost in beech would be:
8 × 4 850 + 4 × 7 360 + 4 × 9 870 = 107 720 ₽.
In oak:
8 × 6 850 + 4 × 10 720 + 4 × 14 480 = 155 600 ₽.
The material difference for such a conditional specification is 47,880 ₽. This is a good example of why the material and heights should be fixed before the final budget.
One order or three: when it is more useful for a furniture maker to combine the entire series into a single list
Combining a cabinet, console, and table into one purchase list is not worth it for the promised discount — its card does not confirm it. The advantage is organizational.
One table shows:
- which heights A are already approved;
- how many legs belong to each item;
- whether the material is the same;
- whether the quality "Prestige" is recorded the same way;
- whether one position is not missed;
- whether 429 and 536 mm are not mixed up;
- what amount falls on each size.
For production, this reduces the risk that one item will be ordered separately with a different wood species, or that at the second stage the buyer will choose the "closest" height from memory.
After approving the list, it is better to freeze it as part of the project and pass it to the manager as a single document. A change in one row should automatically lead to recalculation of the height of a specific item and the budget.
Recommended hardware MN-221: calculate after selecting the mounting node
The MN-221 card recommends FUR-001-1, FUR-001, FUR-012, and felt floor protector FUR-027. At the time of verification, prices are 72, 117, 152, and 55 rubles, respectively.
But the word "recommended" does not mean that all four items should be automatically multiplied by the number of legs.
First, the designer determines how exactly MN-221 connects to a specific cabinet. After that, suitable hardware is selected and its quantity is calculated. One item may use a threaded rod, another may use a different mounting node; this cannot be decided based only on height A.
The floor protector is checked separately. Its presence in the recommendation does not make FUR-027 a mandatory part of any structure or any flooring.
For each row of the list, it is convenient to add columns "mounting node" and "hardware approved". Then furniture legs and fasteners no longer exist in separate documents.
Errors when ordering one MN-221 in seven heights
The first error is to record only the article number and total quantity. MN-221 has seven A values, so such a row is technically incomplete.
The second is to assign height based on the furniture name: "short — cabinet, tall — table". This replaces cabinet calculation with a household association.
Third — consider all sizes interchangeable because B/D/E are the same. The coincidence of these published parameters does not make A=321 and A=429 the same product item.
Fourth — order one part of the series in beech, another in oak without a deliberate design decision. The overall pattern will remain, but the material specification will change.
Fifth — buy hardware along with legs "just in case" without approving the mounting assembly. The card recommendation is a starting point, not a ready-made mounting project.
Sixth — do not account for the number of items. Two identical cabinets with four legs require eight identical size lines, not four.
Seventh — confuse availability and production. Some variants may be in stock, others made to order. For a unified furniture series, the timeline should be planned by the slowest item if pieces must be delivered simultaneously.
When MN-221 is better not used for the entire collection
A unified pattern is useful only as long as it does not force breaking the construction.
There is no need to keep MN-221 on all items if for one cabinet none of the seven standard heights gives the correct finished floor level without questionable rework.
Do not choose a model solely for visual unity if the mounting assembly of a specific item is not confirmed.
For very different furniture, the same leg may turn out to be excessive in scale or, conversely, too light visually. Full-size mockups on the front and side views help see this before ordering.
If a project requires a different profile character for part of the collection, it is better to consciously choose a second article than to stretch one MN-221 across all items for the sake of formal consistency.
How to check the height of a finished item before ordering the entire series
After selecting a preliminary A, it is useful to do a reverse check: assemble the item's height from the bottom up. This protects against situations where the leg was selected by subtraction but one structural layer was forgotten.
For each item, record:
A leg + lower assembly/frame + body + top cover or tabletop = calculated finished height.
If the design involves recessing part of the leg into an apron or another assembly, it is accounted for as a separate line, not "kept in mind." The same applies to an adjustable element, if it is provided for in the project at all.
For example, a designer needs a specific console height. They select the nearest A from the standard MN-221 range, then recalculate the entire item with this actual leg. If the result does not match the design mark, one cannot simply assume that the missing millimeters will be "made up by hardware." They either return to the body height, or to another A, or to another construction.
It is convenient to have two columns: "calculation before selecting MN-221" and "check after selecting the standard A." They should yield the same approved item height. If they do not, the specification is not ready yet.
For a series, this step is repeated separately for the cabinet, console, and table. Visually they are related, but geometrically they are three independent bodies.
Marking and acceptance: seven heights cannot be stored as one position "MN-221"
When several sizes of one article arrive in one batch, the most practical mistake occurs not in the online store, but in the workshop warehouse. Boxes are seen as “MN-221, beech,” and then parts of different A end up in a common storage area.
To prevent this, each line of the list is assigned its own internal code, for example:
- MN221-A321-BEECH;
- MN221-A536-BEECH;
- MN221-A740-BEECH.
These are not STAVROS article numbers, but internal project labeling. It is needed only for the warehouse and production.
Upon receipt, first the quantity for each height is checked, then the material and surface condition. After that, the batches are physically separated and labeled before being sent to the workshop. If four legs with A=536 ended up in a box with A=644, the error will show up too late during assembly.
It is also useful to assign a specific item or order to each line: “T-01”, “K-01”, “S-01”. Then the picker understands not only the size, but also where it should go.
For a repeat order after several months, a saved list is more important than memory. It retains the full size, material, finish, and quantity, even if a different option opens by default on the website.
One control item before launching the entire furniture series
If the series is not produced as a single unit, it is useful to first assemble one control item on the selected MN-221. This does not mean buying a random leg “for testing” without calculation. On the contrary, first one line of the specification is approved, then it is checked in a real assembly.
On the control item, they check:
- the actual finished height;
- position of the body relative to the floor;
- visual scale of turning;
- real mounting assembly;
- accessibility of fasteners;
- appearance after the selected finish.
If everything matches the project, this line becomes the reference. If not, adjustments are made before purchasing the remaining items in the series.
This order is especially useful when the collection has several tall versions of MN-221. An error in one control assembly is local. An error multiplied by dozens of legs turns into reworking the entire batch.
Where to buy wooden furniture legs MN-221 and other turned supports
When the list is ready, the final point is the MN-221 card. If the model is not yet approved, buy furniture legs and supports you can from the general section "Furniture legs and supports".
If the turned profile character is important, a filter is useful buy turned furniture legs. It allows comparing MN-221 with other turned models without mixing them with geometric and carved supports.
For one furniture series, the criterion is simple: first check whether MN-221 can cover the required design heights without compromising the construction. If yes, the seven standard A sizes allow arranging several lines of one article and maintaining a recurring motif from piece to piece.
Questions before ordering MN-221 for a furniture series
How many heights does MN-221 have?
In the current card, there are seven: A=213, 321, 429, 536, 644, 740, and 900 mm.
Do B, D, and E change with the height?
In the published table of all seven variants, B=109, D=32, and E=32 mm. The purpose of D/E should be read from the drawing, not invented based on the letters.
Can A=213 mm be considered a leg for a cabinet?
Only if the calculation of the specific cabinet confirms this. The card does not assign the 213 mm size to one type of furniture.
A=740 mm — is this a leg for a dining table?
Not necessarily. The height of the finished table depends on the entire structure. A=740 mm is the standard size for MN-221, not the final purpose.
What should be written in the order besides MN-221?
Full dimensions A × B × D × E, material, "Prestige", "Under enamel", and quantity for each line.
Can different heights be combined in one line?
It's not recommended. They have different prices and are different product variants of the same article.
Does MN-221 have a "Standard"?
The current price list shows "Prestige". The "Standard/Prestige" selection for MN-221 is not currently displayed.
Is beech or oak better for one series?
Both are available. The choice depends on the project and finish. For a unified series, the material should be fixed before placing the first part of the order.
"Under enamel" means ready-made paint?
No. This is a grade of veneer for opaque finishing, not applied enamel.
Do I need to buy FUR-001-1 together with each leg?
Not automatically. The card recommends this and other hardware, but a specific mounting assembly must be chosen for each item.
How to calculate the collection budget?
For each size row: price of one MN-221 of selected A × quantity. Then sum the row totals.
Can I order the cabinet now and the table in a few months?
Yes, but it's better to save the specification of material, size, and finish. Price, availability, and production time may change by the next order.
What to do if the needed height is between 536 and 644 mm?
Do not automatically choose the nearest one and do not promise trimming without confirmation. Need to return to the cabinet construction or discuss an acceptable solution with the manufacturer.
When is one leg model for an entire series a bad idea?
When it forces you to change the correct furniture height, complicates mounting, or visually doesn't suit one of the items. The overall design should not be more important than the construction.
What should I check before payment?
Number of rows, A in each row, material, "Prestige", "Under enamel", number of legs, mounting unit, and the lead time of the slowest item.
