The company ordered the pens for us when we ordered furniture. But I decided to write a review personally because they are amazing! Stylish, expensive, high-quality!
More than 20 years on the market
The company's success began in 2002, when two artists — Andrey Ragozin and Evgeny Tsapko — created a small creative workshop for producing wooden carved items. The masters' work was quickly noticed, and within a year they were invited to participate in the reconstruction of the Konstantinovskiy Palace in Strelna.
After the success of this project, the company focused on recreating palace interiors, furniture, church furnishings, and carved decorations in various artistic styles. They worked with cultural heritage sites: The Hermitage, the Alexandrovsky Palace, the Troitsko-Izmaylovsky Cathedral, the Sheremetyevsky Mansion, and many others.
The masters' task — and still is — to create wooden items with the highest level of detail and understanding of every element, based on impeccable knowledge of artistic laws and interior styles.

CPU-P5 Molding Decor Set: A chamber classical ceiling system for bedrooms, children's rooms, and cozy living spaces
There are places in the house we choose with our mind. And there are places we return to with our heart. The living room is for guests. The kitchen is for life. But the bedroom and children's room are for ourselves. It is here that the space should not be representational, but genuine. Warm, enveloping, personal.
The ceiling in the bedroom and children's room is a special case. A person looks at it longer than at any other surface in the house. Before sleep, after waking, in moments of contemplation. And it is this ceiling that deserves attention — not making it 'just white,' but transforming it into an architectural statement about coziness and beauty.
The CPU-P5 Molding Decor Set is a ceiling system created precisely for such spaces. Ready-madeClassical ceiling decorwithin a zone of 3200 × 3200 × 83 mm, assembled from 8 types of products from the STAVROS 'Classic' collection. Laconic in the number of elements, yet precise in proportions and expressive in ornamental character. CPU-P5 is that set from the series that speaks softly but convincingly.
View the entire lineupceiling decoration kitsCPU-P1–CPU-P6 can be found in the STAVROS catalog section. CPU-P5 occupies a special niche within it — it's a solution for chamber, intimate spaces where the richness of CPU-P4 would be excessive, and the minimalism of CPU-P1 would be insufficient.
CPU-P5 Molding Decor Set: The logic of restrained classicism
Ask yourself: what is the 'right level of decor'? It's not 'more' and not 'less.' It's exactly as much as a specific space needs to feel complete.
This is the essence of CPU-P5. Eight types of products instead of twenty-one, as in CPU-P4. One central element instead of multi-level corner systems. A three-contour molding perimeter as the foundation. Large ornamental overlays NPU-244 (180 × 138 × 18 mm) and NPU-130 (120 × 268 mm) as the main accents. Delicate inserts NPU-309 (66 × 45 mm) as punctuation.
This is not a simplified CPU-P4. It is a fundamentally different decorative statement — intimate, personal, architecturally precise for a bedroom, nursery, or cozy living room in a city apartment. Ready-madeceiling decor kitCPU-P5 works where ornamental excess would hinder the space from 'breathing'.
And another aspect: it is precisely the conciseness of the CPU-P5 that makes it more accessible for self-installation — fewer elements, a simpler layout scheme, faster final assembly. At the same time, the result is a full-fledged classic ceiling system with a cornice, three contours, corner molding, and a central ornamental accent.
For which spaces is CPU-P5 created: personal space in the spotlight
The fundamental difference between CPU-P5 and previous kits in the series is its application scenario. If CPU-P4 is created for formal and representative spaces, CPU-P5 is for those places where people truly live.
Bedroom: the ceiling with which the day begins and ends
A set of decorative molding for the bedroom is one of the most emotionally significant interior choices that many postpone 'for later'. Because the bedroom — 'it'll do as is'. No, it won't. Especially if you spend a third of your life in it.
A bedroom ceiling withpolyurethane ceiling decorCPU-P5 is not a luxury gesture, not a palatial scale. It is a quiet architectural beauty that you notice every day. The A130V1 cornice around the perimeter of the zone creates a clear frame above the bed area or above the center of the room. Inside the frame — two molding contours. In the corners — NPU-436.1L/R corner molding with a 16 mm relief. On the sides of the field — large ornamental overlays NPU-244 (180 × 138 mm) with an 18 mm relief, which cast expressive shadows in the oblique light of a morning or evening lamp. In the center — MLDPU-2U-1.1 (210 × 210 mm) for a chandelier or light fixture.
All of this together — a ceiling that makes you want to stay in bed a little longer when you look at it. And this is not an empty phrase.
Children's room: classic without pomp
A ceiling decor set for a children's room is a delicate task. On one hand, a child's room shouldn't be bland: a child growing up in a space with thoughtful architectural decor learns to perceive beauty as the norm, not an exception. On the other hand, the room shouldn't be oppressive, cluttered, or 'adult' to the point of discomfort.
CPU-P5 finds the perfect balance. A ceiling system without complex multi-level corner groups, without ornamental overload—but with clear architectural logic, a classic cornice profile, and elegant overlays. For a children's room in a classic or neoclassical interior, this hits the exact mark for decorative intensity.
CPU-P5 is especially suitable for a teenager's room—where the interior should speak of an ability to appreciate quality, but not turn the room into a museum. Classicceiling decor in a classic styleworks here as a backdrop for any personal accents: posters, bookshelves, personal art objects.
Teenager's room: a space with character
A teenager's room is a separate and complex case. It's a zone of autonomy, personal expression, and rapidly changing priorities. And at the same time—a space where the teenager spends hours studying, gaming, listening to music, and talking. The ceiling here is the constant backdrop to all this life.
CPU-P5 in a teenager's room is a bet on the longevity of the decorative solution. Trends in decorating teenagers' rooms change, but a classic ceiling cornice with ornamental inserts never goes out of style. In two years, when the posters and wall colors change, the ceiling will remain relevant.
Apartment: the main accent of one room
For a city apartment — the standard choice: CPU-P5 in one, the most significant living room. For an apartment up to 60 m², CPU-P5 is precisely proportionate: the coverage area of 3200 × 3200 mm occupies the central part of the room with sufficient clearance from the walls.
If the budget allows decorating only one room — let it be the bedroom or living room with CPU-P5. If several rooms are planned — the CPU series lineup offers the ability to select the appropriate level of richness for each space: a more concise CPU-P5 in the bedroom, a richer CPU-P4 in the living room.
Private house: intimate spaces on the upper floor
In private houses on the upper floors, where bedrooms and personal rooms are located, CPU-P5 works as 'quiet classic' in contrast to the more formal solutions on the lower floors. This creates the correct decorative hierarchy: the formal level — representative, the living level — intimate, personal. CPU-P5 is part of this hierarchy.
Ceiling with a chandelier: the central lighting point in the system
Ceiling decor around the chandelier is one of the two main application scenarios for CPU-P5 (the second is contour lighting). The central element MLDPU-2U-1.1 (210 × 210 mm) creates an architectural frame for the mounting point: the chandelier receives a frame that, when viewed from below, transforms it from a technical object into a decorative finale of the ceiling system.
For the bedroom, it is especially important that the central element is sufficiently large to be perceived from the distance of a horizontally lying person (2–3 meters) — and yet does not 'overwhelm' with scale in a small space. MLDPU-2U-1.1 (210 × 210 mm) — precisely meets these requirements.
Ceiling rosettes for chandeliersfrom the STAVROS catalog can complement the central element MLDPU-2U-1.1 — creating a concentric system in the center with several levels of ornamental detailing.
Ceiling with spotlights and lighting: two modes of one space
Ceiling decor with lighting in the bedroom is one of the most subtle interior tools. The cornice A130V1 (100 × 83 mm) provides the necessary profile depth for placing the LED strip in the groove behind the rear edge.
In the bedroom and nursery, contour lighting plays a special role: it creates a soft night mode — when the central chandelier is off, the LED strip behind the cornice provides diffused warm light, outlining the ceiling area. Ornamental overlays NPU-244 and NPU-130 under such lighting cast soft volumetric shadows — the relief comes to life, becoming sculptural.
Composition of the CPU-P5 stucco decoration kit: eight types of items and their roles
CPU-P5 includes 8 types of items. This is the most compact composition in the CPU-P series — and within this conciseness lies its own architectural logic.
Molding base: three perimeter contours
Cornice A130V1— 100 × 83 × 2000 mm, HIWOOD polystyrene. Outer perimeter contour. In CPU-P5, this cornice performs the same architectural role as in the more elaborate kits of the series — but is perceived differently. Without multi-level corner systems around it, the A130V1 cornice itself becomes more 'audible': its profile, its horizontal line, its depth are the key decorative tools of the kit.
A powerful 100 × 83 mm profile on the perimeter of a 3200 × 3200 mm area creates an architectural frame with a tangible weight. In the bedroom and nursery, this frame gives the space a special sense of protection — a feeling that the space above you 'holds'. Full assortmentceiling cornicesof different profiles — in the catalog section.
LD32 molding— 32 × 15 × 2000 mm, HIWOOD polystyrene. First inner contour. In CPU-P5, the LD32 molding plays the role of a delicate 'second line' after the cornice — it creates a double perimeter without aggression, adding depth and a stepped effect. With monochrome painting in the ceiling color, the difference between the A130V1 cornice and the LD32 molding is only discernible through shadows from the different reliefs — creating a subtle, unobtrusive classical structure.
MDF primed molding MLD-002-MG— 22 × 11 × 2600 mm. Third, final contour — geometrically pure, with the impeccable straightness of MDF Prestige. Completes the molding system and forms the inner 'window' of the ceiling area, within which ornamental accents unfold.
Complete section ceiling moldingsSTAVROS — in the catalog.
Corner molding: the detail that completes transitions
NPU-436.1L— 85 × 34 × 16 mm, polyurethane. Corner molding for molding transitions — left-hand version. In the CPU-P5 set — single (without a matching right-hand element in the visible set). This means the NPU-436.1L is used in specific corner positions of the system — where the geometric joint of the molding requires ornamental completion. A 16 mm relief with a compact size of 85 × 34 mm — this is an expressive, volumetric accent on a delicate section of the system.
Complete section decoration for moldingswith corner elements for different molding systems — in the catalog.
Main ornamental accents: NPU-130 and NPU-244
It is precisely these two elements that define the visual character of CPU-P5. They are the main 'words' in the ceiling decorative text of this set.
NPU-130— 120 × 268 × 15 mm, polyurethane. A large vertically oriented ornamental overlay. The size of 120 × 268 mm with a 15 mm relief — this is the tallest element in the CPU-P5 set. The vertical orientation against the predominantly horizontal perimeter creates a dynamic ornamental contrast: horizontal lines of cornices and moldings + the vertical accent of NPU-130 in the field.
For the bedroom, this contrast is especially significant: vertical accents on the sides of the ceiling frame visually 'raise' the ceiling, creating a sense of greater height. Above the bed, where a horizontally lying person looks at the ceiling at the steepest angle, NPU-130 is perceived especially expressively — its verticality 'overhangs' softly, like an ornamental canopy.
NPU-244— 180 × 138 × 18 mm, polyurethane. This is the maximum relief in the CPU-P5 set — 18 mm. The NPU-244 creates the deepest and most voluminous shadows under side lighting: evening light from a bedside lamp or morning oblique lighting make this element literally sculptural. The size 180 × 138 mm is large, legible from a distance of several meters.
In the field of the CPU-P5 ceiling system, NPU-244 occupies key positions — on the sides of the frame or in corner zones. Together with NPU-130, they create a simple yet expressive ornamental system that reads as a cohesive architectural composition.
Punctuation inserts: NPU-309
NPU-309— 66 × 45 × 8 mm, polyurethane. A small ornamental element with horizontally elongated proportions. In CPU-P5 NPU-309, it serves as rhythmic punctuation—small ornamental dots placed in the field between large accents. Without NPU-309, the system will look incomplete: large accents and an empty field between them. With NPU-309—a rhythmically filled, detailed surface where every centimeter carries decorative meaning.
Central finale: MLDPU-2U-1.1
MLDPU-2U-1.1— 210 × 210 × 18 mm, polyurethane. The central ornamental element of the system—the corner molding of the set for molding MLDPU-002. The largest size among all CPU-P5 elements in square cross-section: 210 × 210 mm with an 18 mm relief creates a powerful three-dimensional central accent. It is under MLDPU-2U-1.1 that a chandelier or central spot light is mounted.
In CPU-P5, unlike more saturated sets in the series, the central element does not 'compete' with the branched corner groups — it remains the sole ornamental dominant of the system. This creates a hierarchically clean composition: perimeter frame (cornice + moldings) → field accents (NPU-130, NPU-244, NPU-309) → final dominant (MLDPU-2U-1.1). Three levels, none of which 'shout'.
Summary table of CPU-P5 composition:

Why CPU-P5 is the 'Right' Choice for Intimate Spaces
Let's turn to an honest comparison. When a customer chooses between CPU-P4 and CPU-P5 for a bedroom, there is often a temptation to go 'bigger': the CPU-P4 with its four levels of corner accents seems like 'more for the same money'. This is flawed logic.
Scale and environment. The CPU-P4 is designed for spaces with high ceilings, a formal character, and large area. In a bedroom of 16–20 m² with a 2.7 m ceiling, it can visually 'overwhelm' the space—four levels of corner accents in a limited area create a feeling of clutter.
The CPU-P5, with its two main ornamental accents (NPU-130 and NPU-244) and delicate inserts (NPU-309), creates the correct decorative density for an intimate space: sufficiently rich to feel 'designed', but not so dense that the ceiling feels 'looming'.
Readability in low light. In bedrooms and children's rooms, lighting is most often soft, diffuse, or spot-focused. Under such lighting, multi-level systems with dozens of small elements 'blend together'—the distinctiveness of each accent is lost. The CPU-P5, with its large NPU-244 (180 × 138 mm) and NPU-130 (120 × 268 mm) elements, remains legible even in minimal light: each element is large enough to cast expressive shadows.
Psychological comfort. Complex ornamental systems activate vision—we involuntarily 'scan' the rich surface, our brain tries to 'read' all the accents. For a living room, this is good—the dynamics of perception work for representation. For a bedroom, it's bad: the space should calm, not excite. The CPU-P5 is decoratively active just enough for the ceiling to be 'interesting'—but not so much that it demands active visual attention.
Polyurethane and HIWOOD Polystyrene: Why These Specific Materials
CPU-P5 combines two materials:Polyurethane moldingsfor ornamental overlays and dense HIWOOD polystyrene for molding profiles. The selection logic is the same as in the entire CPU series.
Polyurethane for ornamentation because:
Relief reproduction accuracy. NPU-244 with 18 mm relief is an ornament with foliate motifs, scrolls, and complex form transitions. Such relief is only possible by casting into precise molds. Polyurethane reproduces the form with accuracy down to fractions of a millimeter—and identically in every product.
Lightness. NPU-130 (120 × 268 mm) with 15 mm relief weighs about 100–120 g. Installation—mounting adhesive without anchors. One person does not need an assistant to hold the element: press, fix, hold for 30–60 seconds until it sets.
Resilience. The slight elasticity of polyurethane allows a large element to 'conform' to the shape of an uneven ceiling without gaps or air pockets under the overlay.
Polystyrene HIWOOD for moldings—because:
Rigidity and straightness. A cornice A130V1 2 meters long should not sag under its own weight—HIWOOD polystyrene with a density of 680 kg/m³ provides the necessary rigidity. Over a perimeter of 12–14 linear meters, the geometry does not 'drift'.
100% moisture resistance. For a children's room with unstable humidity or for spaces adjacent to a bathroom, this is fundamental.Cornices for the ceilingmade of HIWOOD polystyrene are not afraid of humidity fluctuations.
Perfect surface for painting. HIWOOD polystyrene without pores or graininess—water-based paint applies in an even layer, without spotting or uneven absorption.
How to use CPU-P5 in a real interior project
Scenario 1: Bedroom with a central chandelier and contour lighting
The most common and most effective application scenario for CPU-P5.
Zone placement: centered on the ceiling above a double bed (standard size — 1600–2000 mm width, 2000 mm length) with a margin of 600–700 mm on each side. A 3200 × 3200 mm zone fully covers the bed + bedside tables.
Lighting scheme: 2700K LED strip (warm white) in the groove behind the A130V1 cornice, direction — upward (for soft reflection from the ceiling) or downward (for direct contour lighting). Central chandelier — under MLDPU-2U-1.1, on a dimmer. In daytime mode — both systems active. In evening sleep mode — only the LED strip, chandelier off.
Result: the ceiling above the bed under evening lighting becomes a quiet, glowing volume. The relief of NPU-244 and NPU-130 creates soft sculptural shadows. The ornamental center MLDPU-2U-1.1 under the chandelier is the point towards which the entire system gravitates. The bedroom acquires the feeling of an architecturally complete personal space.
Scenario 2: Children's room with spot lighting
For a children's room, the central chandelier is often replaced by a group of recessed ceiling spotlights — safer, more functional for different activity zones. In this case, the central element MLDPU-2U-1.1 acts as an 'anchor' for one of the spots — the central, decorative one.
Contour LED strip behind the cornice in the children's room — night mode. With soft, low-level contour lighting, the child is not afraid of the dark but also does not wake up from bright light.
Important nuance for children's rooms: all CPU-P5 elements are mounted high and securely — with adhesive, without protruding anchors or fasteners. The surface after painting is smooth, without sharp edges. This is a safe system.
Scenario 3: Cozy living room in a city apartment
For a small living room of 18–25 m² in a city apartment, CPU-P5 is a more organic choice than CPU-P4. A concise ornamental system without multi-level corner groups allows the space to 'breathe': a living room with CPU-P5 on the ceiling does not look 'over-decorated,' it looks refined.
Combination: CPU-P5 on ceiling + molding frames on walls made ofdecorative moldings + Decor for Moldingat corner transitions of wall frames. This is a full-fledged classic system for two surfaces — ceiling and walls — in a unified style.
CPU-P5 Installation: Sequence and Logic
CPU-P5 is the most 'installation-accessible' set in the series. Eight types of products, without complex multi-level corner groups, with a clear layout scheme.

What to pair with CPU-P5: building a classic interior from the ceiling down
CPU-P5 is the ceiling level. But a complete classic interior is a coordinated decorative system on all planes.
ceiling rosettes— additional detailing for the center. A decorative rosette for MLDPU-2U-1.1 creates several concentric ornamental levels at the chandelier mounting point. For a bedroom — an elegant solution; for a child's room — a visually active center, interesting for a child.
decorative ceiling cornices— perimeter cornice for the entire room outside the CPU-P5 zone. In a bedroom with CPU-P5 in the central zone, a perimeter cornice by the walls is chosen with a thinner profile — 40–60 mm — so as not to compete with the A130V1 zone.
Moldings for the ceilingfor wall frame systems. In a bedroom, classic molding frames on the walls — 'panels' — create a continuation of the ceiling theme on vertical surfaces. Choose from the same 'Classic' collection as CPU-P5.
Elements for moldings— corner and intermediate decorative overlays for wall molding frames. In a child's room and bedroom, these are delicate ornamental accents that enliven the geometry of wall panels without adding weight.
polyurethane decorfor walls, door surrounds, window frames — final detailing of a classic interior. Individual overlays from the sectionmoldings from polyurethanein the same ornamental style as CPU-P5, continue the decorative language throughout the entire room volume.
Frequently asked questions about the CPU-P5 kit
How does CPU-P5 fundamentally differ from CPU-P4?
CPU-P4 — 21 product types, four levels of corner accents, a rich ornamental system for formal spaces. CPU-P5 — 8 product types, without multi-level corner groups, a concise system with two main field accents (NPU-244 and NPU-130) and one central accent (MLDPU-2U-1.1). CPU-P5 is designed for intimate, personal spaces — bedrooms, children's rooms, small cozy living rooms. CPU-P4 — for formal halls, representative living rooms, large open spaces. The full range can be compared in the section.ceiling decor.
Is CPU-P5 suitable for a 2.6 m ceiling?
Yes. With a height of 2.6 m, the A130V1 cornice (83 mm in profile) is proportionate — not too large, well-balanced. A 3200 × 3200 mm zone with a ceiling height of 2.6 m and a room area of 18–25 m² looks proportional. For heights below 2.5 m — a consultation with a STAVROS manager is recommended to select a lighter cornice from the assortment.
Are special tools needed for installation?
The main tools are a laser level (for marking), a miter saw with a rotary table (for 45° cornice cuts), and mounting adhesive. Other tools are standard: a brush, acrylic putty, painter's tape. CPU-P5 is the most accessible kit in the series for self-installation.
What is the best way to paint CPU-P5 — monochrome or with accents?
For a bedroom — often monochrome (in the ceiling color). This creates relief that works exclusively through shadows: subtly, elegantly, not aggressively. For a children's room — light accenting is possible: for example, NPU-244 and NPU-130 overlays in cream-white, and the ceiling in warm beige. For a living room with more active lighting — a contrast of an accent color (gold, ochre, terracotta) on the overlays with a white cornice.
Can the number of NPU-309 in the layout be changed?
Yes. NPU-309 is a field saturation element, and its quantity and placement can be adjusted for a specific project. When ordering CPU-P5, discuss the desired density of inserts with a STAVROS manager — if necessary, additional quantities can be purchased separately.
Is CPU-P5 suitable for a kitchen-living room?
Yes, with proper exhaust ventilation. HIWOOD polystyrene is moisture-resistant, and polyurethane overlays are resistant to steam under standard operating conditions. The final coating with moisture-resistant acrylic paint enhances the system's durability. For a kitchen-living room, CPU-P5 is a more appropriate choice than the more elaborate sets in the series: the concise system does not compete with an active culinary space.
How to order CPU-P5 from STAVROS?
Through the product card on the STAVROS website — the 'Pre-order' or 'Add to Cart' button. Delivery: SDEK, DPD throughout Russia; pickup from St. Petersburg and Moscow. Production: from 5 business days. Upon ordering — individual protective packaging for each element.
Is it possible to see CPU-P5 samples in person?
STAVROS showrooms in St. Petersburg and Moscow feature samples of decorative elements from the 'Classic' collection. To assess the actual relief, size, and surface texture of NPU-244 and NPU-130 — which define the visual character of CPU-P5 — a personal inspection is necessary.
