Thin shapes KN-009 are convenient to use as color separators. They can be painted black, white, metallic, or another contrasting shade to emphasize the structure of the assembled leg.

How to assemble the furniture leg kit

KON-010 is supplied disassembled. Before final fixation, perform a dry assembly without glue and check the sequence of elements, overall height, symmetry, and the position of shapes on the axis.

Recommended sequence of work:

1. Determine the design height of the finished furniture support.
2. Cut the wooden rod MLD-060 to the required length.
3. Clean parts from dust after processing and fitting.
4. Sequentially install the geometric shapes onto the axis.
5. Check the position of large and small elements.
6. Mark the installation locations of each shape.
7. Apply wood glue to the surfaces to be joined.
8. Install elements according to the markings and check alignment.
9. Secure the composition until the glue is fully polymerized.
10. After drying, remove any glue residue and perform final finishing.

For assembly, it is recommended to use PVA glue class D3 or another composition suitable for joining wooden parts. During drying, elements can be secured with masking tape. If necessary, additional fastening with micro pins is allowed, if provided by the product manufacturing technology.

Large geometric shapes can be used as connecting nodes. It is allowed to glue two axis segments from opposite sides into such a part if an elongated decorative structure needs to be assembled.

Why finishing is recommended after assembly

Painting, tinting, or varnishing is best done after final fitting and assembly of the set. The paint coating inside the mounting hole may reduce its working diameter and make it difficult to install the shape on the MLD-060 axis.

If individual modules need to be painted before assembly, the 34 mm diameter mounting channel should be pre-covered with masking tape, a plug, or other protective material.

After the coating has dried, check the free fit of all elements. Do not install figures with excessive force, as this may damage the coating or the wooden part itself.

Can the composition of KON-010 be changed?

The set belongs to the STAVROS wooden construction system. The standard composition can be adapted to a specific furniture project: change the sequence of figures, remove individual elements, or add other modules with a 34 mm diameter mounting hole to the leg.

When changing the composition, the following must be redefined:

• total height of the furniture leg;
• length of straight sections of the axle;
• position of large geometric elements;
• maximum width of the composition;
• distance to the body and adjacent supports;
• location of connection points;
• method of attaching the leg to furniture.

When making several identical legs, it is recommended to first assemble one control sample. After checking the dimensions, the layout of the shapes is transferred to the remaining axes using a single template.

Attaching the leg to the furniture body

The KON-010 kit is designed for assembling a decorative support. The specific method of attachment to the tabletop, cabinet, or other furniture body is selected separately, taking into account the product design.

For installation, mounting pads, metal plates, threaded rods, joinery connections, or an additional internal frame can be used. The choice depends on the weight of the furniture, the number of supports, the body material, and the expected load.

If the console is mounted to the wall, decorative legs can be used as front supports. In this case, it is necessary to precisely match the height of the legs with the level of the wall mount. For a freestanding table, sufficient spatial rigidity of the entire frame must be ensured.

Before serial production of furniture, it is recommended to perform a trial assembly and check the stability of the finished product under the design load.
