The company ordered the pens for us when we ordered furniture. But I decided to write a review personally because they are amazing! Stylish, expensive, high-quality!

More than 20 years on the market

The company's success began in 2002, when two artists — Andrey Ragozin and Evgeny Tsapko — created a small creative workshop for producing wooden carved items. The masters' work was quickly noticed, and within a year they were invited to participate in the reconstruction of the Konstantinovskiy Palace in Strelna.

After the success of this project, the company focused on recreating palace interiors, furniture, church furnishings, and carved decorations in various artistic styles. They worked with cultural heritage sites: The Hermitage, the Alexandrovsky Palace, the Troitsko-Izmaylovsky Cathedral, the Sheremetyevsky Mansion, and many others.

The masters' task — and still is — to create wooden items with the highest level of detail and understanding of every element, based on impeccable knowledge of artistic laws and interior styles.

Stucco Decor Set CPU-7-1 for wall panel decoration

One solution instead of a dozen tasks

Most buyers who first take on decorating walls with stucco go through the same path: first they choose a molding for a long time, then they look for corner elements for it for a long time, then they discover that the central ornament does not match the corner parts in projection, then they start all over again. This path takes weeks and often ends either with abandoning the idea or with a compromise solution that looks exactly like a compromise.

The STAVROS Stucco Decor Set CPU-7-1 solves this problem at its root. Here you don't need to select anything, coordinate sizes, check compatibility of projections and ornamental styles. Everything is already done: one set includes Primed MDF moldingand polyurethane decorative elements with floral ornamentation — coordinated, proportionate, stylistically unified. Buying the CPU-7-1 stucco decoration kit means getting a ready-made architectural solution for a wall, rather than a set of parts with a vague assembly prospect.

This is exactly how a good interior product should work: the buyer sees the task, the manufacturer offers a solution. CPU-7-1 is the solution.

Visual idea: what decor is hidden behind the article number

An article number is a technical code. Behind it lies a very specific image, and it is important to see it before reading the composition table.

CPU-7-1 is a rich, grand, expressively decorative composition. Not a laconic molding contour, not a minimalist frame in the Scandinavian spirit. This is exactly what can be called "full-scale architectural decor": the molding sets a strict geometric perimeter, and inside this perimeter unfolds a floral ornament — corner accents with leaves and curls, central medallions with an elaborate floral pattern, side inserts, horizontal finishes.

The result is a wall panel that reads as an independent architectural element. Not just a frame on the wall, but a complete decorative structure that exudes a sense of a thoughtful, expensive, intentional interior.

CPU-7-1 is a choice for those who are not afraid of decor. For those who understand: it is the details that make a space characterful. And for those who want the wall to speak — not remain silent.

CPU-7-1 kit composition: all details on one page

Transparency of composition is respect for the buyer. Below is a complete list of elements included in the set, with dimensions and quantities.

Article Item Name Dimensions Quantity
NPU-461L Stucco decor (left-hand) A=195 mm, B=112 mm, C=13 mm 2 pcs.
MLD-004-MG Primed MDF molding A=15 mm, C=8 mm, L=2600 mm 2 pcs.
NPU-307 Stucco decor A=35 mm, B=53 mm, C=9 mm 4 pcs.
NPU-402.1L Polyurethane stucco (left-hand) A=63 mm, B=29 mm, C=13 mm 2 pcs.
NPU-402.1R Polyurethane stucco (right-hand) A=63 mm, B=29 mm, C=13 mm 2 pcs.
NPU-461R Stucco decor (right-hand) A=195 mm, B=112 mm, C=13 mm 2 pcs.
NPU-462.1 Stucco decor (central) A=330 mm, B=330 mm, C=14 mm 2 pcs.
NPU-470L Stucco decor (left-hand small) A=80 mm, B=60 mm, C=8 mm 2 pcs.
NPU-470R Stucco decor (right-hand small) A=80 mm, B=60 mm, C=8 mm 2 pcs.

Pay attention to several important parameters that this table reveals.

First, all decorative elements have a consistent projection: NPU-461L/R — 13 mm, NPU-402.1L/R — 13 mm, NPU-462.1 — 14 mm, NPU-470L/R — 8 mm, NPU-307 — 9 mm. The molding MLD-004-MG with a projection of 8 mm forms the base, and the decorative elements stepwise increase in depth above it — this creates a natural hierarchy of reliefs, where each level is read separately, but together they form a single volumetric plane.

Secondly, symmetry is strictly ensured: all key decorative details are available in left-hand (L) and right-hand (R) versions, guaranteeing a mirror composition without any additional calculations.

Thirdly, the central element NPU-462.1 (330 × 330 mm) is large, with an elaborate ornament. It sets the "theme" for the entire panel and becomes its semantic focus.

Materials: why MDF and polyurethane work together

This is not a random combination. The combination of primed MDF molding and polyurethane ornamental overlays is a well-thought-out engineering and aesthetic strategy.

Primed MDF molding: geometry without compromise

MDF (medium-density fiberboard) is one of the most stable sheet materials in interior production. Unlike solid wood, it does not warp with changes in humidity, does not crack, and does not buckle. MDF molding holds a straight line shape along its entire length — this is critical for the architectural precision of the frame.

Priming the molding surface at the factory solves another practical problem: the primer seals the porous structure of MDF, making the surface ready for final painting without additional treatment. On primed MDF, paint lays evenly, without absorption or streaks.

The profile of molding MLD-004-MG — A=15 mm, C=8 mm. This is a compact profile with moderate projection, which does not pull the decorative focus onto itself but delicately holds the frame perimeter, giving the main role to the ornamental elements.

Polyurethane elements: ornament with pronounced volume

decorative polyurethane elementscarry a plant ornament with deep relief. Polyurethane as a material ensures precise reproduction of the shape: every petal, every leaf curve, every ornament curl is cast from a mold with precision unattainable by hand modeling.

The weight of polyurethane elements is negligible compared to gypsum counterparts. NPU-462.1 (330 × 330 × 14 mm) weighs just a few hundred grams and is held on the wall with mounting adhesive without additional fasteners.

The surface of polyurethane is chemically inert to water: the elements do not absorb moisture, do not deteriorate during seasonal changes, and do not yellow under normal use. After applying interior paint, the service life is virtually unlimited, provided the wall is not subjected to mechanical damage.

Why this pair works

MDF provides a clear geometric line — polyurethane provides a three-dimensional ornament. MDF is stable in length — polyurethane is precise in shape. MDF is easily trimmed to the desired size — polyurethane flexibly integrates into any compositional scheme. Together, they fully address the task of creatinga decorative wall panel with stucco moldingcompletely — from the geometric framework to the ornamental filling.

Where to install the CPU-7-1 set: ten application scenarios

A decorative wall panel is not a genre limitation. It is a universal tool that works in any space where the wall needs to become more than just a background.

Accent Wall in Living Room

The living room is a space whereMolding decor for wall panelsworks with the greatest impact. An accent wall is the main plane of the room, visible from any point. One or several vertical CPU-7-1 panels on this wall create an architectural rhythm that instantly elevates the interior to another level.

These are the walls seen in photos of designer interiors that seem unattainably expensive. In practice, their secret is simple: a well-chosen and properly installed set of moldings with stucco does all the work.

Decorative panel behind the sofa

The area behind the sofa is a traditional spot for a decorative accent. A painting, mirror, or textile panel — all of these work. But a decorative frame made of moldings with floral stucco works differently: it is built into the wall, it is part of it, it does not require lighting and is not afraid of furniture rearrangement. CPU-7-1 behind the sofa is a permanent architectural accent that does not depend on how the furniture is moved.

Headboard area in the bedroom

The headboard is where the bedroom gets its face. Stucco decor for the bedroom from the CPU-7-1 kit, mounted on the wall behind the bed, creates the effect of a built-in architectural detail. When painted the same color as the wall, the pattern is only visible under side lighting — this is an exquisite, almost invisible decor. With contrasting paint, it becomes the main statement of the bedroom.

TV zone: a technological block in an architectural frame

A TV on the wall without decor is always a visual problem. Two vertical CPU-7-1 kits on either side of the screen is a solution that turns an awkward black device into part of a symmetrical decorative system. Technology integrates into the architecture rather than fighting it.

Pier between doorways

A narrow wall section 500–700 mm wide is a "blind spot" in most interiors. It is either ignored or a single random object is hung on it. CPU-7-1 installed in such a section turns it from a forced gap into an independent decorative element with architectural character.

Hall and entryway: first impression as a task

The hallway is the only space that all guests see without exception. And the only one that most often receives the least attention when decorating.Stucco decor for the hallwayfrom the CPU-7-1 set corrects this injustice: one vertical panel on the side wall of the hallway instantly elevates the status of the entire interior — even as the guest crosses the threshold.

A hall with high ceilings allows the CPU-7-1 to be deployed at full height with several vertical intermediate accents — and the space acquires a palatial grandeur, albeit in a restrained urban format.

Study: an atmosphere of serious intent

A study requires a special approach to wall decor. You cannot overdo it with ornamental activity here — it will be distracting. But bare walls in a study also deprive the space of the weight necessary for productive work. The CPU-7-1 finds the right balance: the plant ornament is restrained enough not to dominate, and rich enough to create an atmosphere of a place with history.

Restaurant: decor that shapes the price category

In the restaurant business, atmosphere directly affects the average check. Walls withdecorative moldings and stuccotell the visitor: everything here is thought out, they invest in details, it's worth paying here. The CPU-7-1 in a restaurant hall is a quick way to raise the perceived status of the establishment without major renovations.

Beauty salon, boutique, showroom

Commercial interiors exist in a fiercely competitive environment for client attention. The first seconds in a space are the most important: this is when the readiness to purchase is formed. A decorative wall with a setSTAVROS plaster decor line creates that very first impression that says "this is a place for people with good taste."

Repeating rhythm on a long wall

One CPU-7-1 panel is an accent. Three or four identical sets in rhythmic alternation on a long wall is architecture. Equal spacing between panels, uniform size, uniform ornament — and an empty wall turns into a classic gallery enfilade, without requiring a single painting on it.

For which interior styles is CPU-7-1 created

Floral ornament is a universal decorative language. But there are styles in which it sounds especially precise and convincing.

Neoclassicism

Molding for neoclassicism is not a metaphor. It is a literal adherence to historical tradition: symmetrical frames, floral accents, a calibrated scale. CPU-7-1 in white finish on a white wall is neoclassicism in its modern, residential interpretation: without gilding and without monumentality, but with the same architectural logic.

Neoclassicism does not tolerate randomness. Everything must be in its place, everything must be proportionate. CPU-7-1 is built precisely on this principle: each element occupies its place in the hierarchy of reliefs, and this hierarchy is precise.

Modern classic

Modern classicism differs from neoclassicism primarily in the scale of expression: the same vocabulary, but spoken more quietly, more delicately.set of wall moldingsCPU-7-1 in wall color (without contrast highlighting) works in modern classic exactly like this: the decor is felt but not declared. The relief appears only with side lighting — and this is precisely the effect called "architectural shadow."

Art Deco

Art Deco loves contrast. The rigid geometry of the molding plus an organic floral ornament — this is the aesthetics of Art Deco in miniature. When painting the decor in metallic shades (bronze, copper, gold, aged silver), CPU-7-1 acquires that very "decorative luxury" that made Art Deco a style icon.

Parisian style

Parisian interior is built on layering: moldings, wallpaper, mirrors, paintings, textiles, fresh flowers — each layer adds its own note. CPU-7-1 in a Parisian interior is the basic architectural layer onto which everything else is put on like jewelry on a dress. Without this layer, everything else loses its foundation.

Eclecticism and premium modern interior

In an eclectic interior, CPU-7-1 acts as an anchor element — it holds together diverse decorative solutions in a single architectural space. In a premium modern interior without a clear stylistic direction, it adds depth and historical rootedness — something that "pure" modern design usually lacks.

How to combine CPU-7-1 with other elements of the STAVROS catalog

The CPU-7-1 set is a self-sufficient solution for one wall panel. But an interior is always more than one panel, and understanding how CPU-7-1 works in a system with other STAVROS products opens up additional possibilities.

Cornices and Baseboards

A wall with decorative panels CPU-7-1 is organically complemented by a ceiling cornice and floor plinth from the same system.STAVROS polyurethane moldings, cornices, and baseboardscreate a unified decorative framework of the room: ceiling — cornice, wall — molding frame with stucco, floor — plinth. Such a three-level decor is no longer individual details, but an architectural system.

Adjacent wall decor collections

If you plan to have several different rooms with decor in a unified style, it makes sense to consider other collections in the section. Clear lines, created using modern technologies, emphasize the strict aesthetics of the room. Each decorative element harmoniously fits into the overall concept, creating a sense of order and thoughtfulness. The "Botanical Garden" collectioncontains individual decorative elements with floral patterns, from which you can assemble custom compositions — in spaces where the ready-made CPU-7-1 set does not fit the format.

For spaces with a different decorative mood, it is worth exploringthe "Tavrichesky Garden" collection — it has a different ornament plasticity, a different scale, and a different character of the floral motif. By examining both collections side by side, the buyer makes an accurate choice for a specific space.

Repeating sets

CPU-7-1 is designed to create two identical panels: the set includes two copies of each key element. This means that one set covers two symmetrical panels — for example, on either side of a window or fireplace. For three or more panels, a proportional number of sets is ordered.

Installation of the CPU-7-1 set: step-by-step instructions

DIY installationmolding and stucco set— a feasible task for a person with basic construction skills. Below is a sequence of actions that yields a predictable result.

Step 1: Wall preparation

The wall must be level across the entire installation area. Deviations greater than 2 mm on a two-meter straightedge will require leveling putty — otherwise, the molding will not fit tightly and will show visible gaps. The wall must be dry: humidity above 12% prevents normal adhesion of the mounting adhesive.

The surface is dusted and, if necessary, degreased — especially if there are traces of silicone or wax mastics.

Step 2: Marking

This is the most important step. A 5 mm error in marking ruins the symmetry of the entire panel — and fixing it after fixing the parts is extremely difficult.

Marking sequence:

  • Find and mark the vertical axis of the future panel (laser level or plumb line)

  • Along the axis, mark the central position of NPU-462.1 (central medallion 330 × 330 mm)

  • From the medallion up and down — positions of corner and intermediate elements

  • Horizontally from the axis — left and right boundaries of the molding frame

Only after all marks are made with a pencil and checked with a level — open the glue.

Step 3: cutting the molding MLD-004-MG

The 2600 mm long molding is cut into four segments along the perimeter of the frame. Horizontal and vertical segments are joined at a 45° angle — for this, a miter saw or angle jig is used. The ends after cutting are sanded with fine sandpaper.

Important: the molding is cut along the inner or outer edge — depending on the selected connection scheme. The inner corner (45° inward) gives a neater joint but requires precision to within 0.5 mm.

Step 4: installing the molding

Glue is applied in a zigzag pattern to the back side of the molding. The part is pressed along the markings and held for 30–60 seconds. For vertical sections longer than 1500 mm, additional fixation with two or three finish nails with heads is recommended — they are driven in and countersunk, then puttied over.

Installation is carried out strictly according to the markings, with constant level checking. A molding that deviates 2 mm from vertical in the middle of a section will be visible from a distance of 3 meters.

Step 5: installing decorative elements

Polyurethane overlays are installed after the molding. Order: first the central element NPU-462.1, then the corner elements NPU-461L and NPU-461R, then the intermediate ones NPU-402.1L/R and NPU-470L/R, and finally NPU-307.

Glue is applied pointwise to the back surface of each element. Pressing: for large parts (NPU-462.1) — 2–3 minutes, for small ones (NPU-307, NPU-470) — 30–60 seconds.

Step 6: puttying joints

After the glue has fully dried (usually 24 hours), all joints — between the molding and the wall, between decorative elements and the molding, and between decorative elements themselves — are filled with acrylic sealant or finishing putty.

After the putty has dried (4–6 hours), all joints are sanded with fine sandpaper (grit 180–220). Good sanding of joints is 15 minutes of work that completely 'removes' all seams and makes the surface monolithic.

Step 7: Priming and Painting

Priming the molding is not required: it is already primed at the factory. Polyurethane elements just need to be wiped with a slightly damp cloth and allowed to dry.

Paint is applied in two coats: with a brush on relief ornamental details, with a small foam roller on the molding. The first coat is thin, the second is finishing. For a rich color, a third coat after the second has dried.

Advantages of the CPU-7-1 kit: why it is the right choice

We systematize all the key points in one place to finally dispel any doubts.

Ready without selection. All kit elements are already selected, coordinated in style, scale, and projection. No hours spent searching for compatible parts in the catalog.

Symmetry guaranteed. Paired L/R elements ensure mirror symmetry of the panel without any additional calculations.

Double coverage. One kit covers two identical panels — rational and economical for symmetrical wall decoration.

Two materials — one system. MDF molding + polyurethane stucco = geometry + ornament, frame + filling, rigor + life.

Ready for painting. The entire composition is ready to be painted with any interior paint. One color with the wall — architectural relief. Contrasting — decorative accent.

Versatility of application. Residential and commercial spaces, high and standard ceilings, neoclassicism and art deco, living room and restaurant — CPU-7-1 knows no limits in terms of context of use.

Effect of expensive finishing. The final result of installing CPU-7-1 is visually indistinguishable from custom architectural stucco molding, which requires a master plasterer, weeks of work, and a much larger budget.

FAQ: answering the main questions about CPU-7-1

What size wall panel is CPU-7-1 designed for?
The molding in the kit is 2600 mm long. This allows you to create a vertical panel up to 2500 mm high (with allowance for corner trimming). The panel width is determined by the amount of molding: the standard frame perimeter is formed from two 2600 mm moldings with a frame width of up to 500–600 mm.

Can I purchase individual elements separately if one kit is not enough?
Yes. All elements included in CPU-7-1 are listed in the catalog as separate items. You can purchase the necessary parts individually.

How to calculate the number of kits for a wall?
CPU-7-1 = 2 panels. If you need 4 panels — 2 kits. If you need one panel — one kit (the second set of parts remains as a spare or is used in another room).

Can I use CPU-7-1 without molding — only stucco elements?
Technically, yes. Polyurethane elements can be mounted directly on the wall without a molding frame — as independent ornamental accents. But the architectural effect with molding is incomparably stronger.

Is a professional team needed for installation?
Not necessarily. With basic construction skills, a laser level, and mounting adhesive, DIY installation is quite feasible. The main thing is not to rush the marking.

What glue to use?
Mounting adhesive for MDF and polyurethane on an acrylic or polyurethane base. Glue like 'liquid nails' is the standard choice for this task.

What color is best to paint CPU-7-1?
It depends on the task. In the color of the wall — a delicate architectural relief, a modern classic effect. Contrasting white on a colored wall — a clear decorative accent. Metallic (bronze, gold) — art deco or maximalist style.

Can I repaint an already installed set?
Yes, at any time. Light sanding of the old layer — and the surface is ready for a new color again.

Is CPU-7-1 suitable for drywall walls?
Yes. Polyurethane elements are light enough to adhere to drywall with mounting glue. MDF molding longer than 1500 mm is better to additionally secure with finishing nails into the profile under the sheathing.

Are there similar sets with a different pattern?
Yes. The STAVROS catalog offers a wide selectionof wall decorative elements made of polyurethaneand ready-made sets with different patterns and in different styles — classic, botanical, geometric.

How is CPU-7-1 different from CPU-6-1?
CPU-7-1 is a richer, more formal, and richly ornamented composition. CPU-6-1 is more concise, with fewer decorative levels. The choice depends on how pronounced the decor should be on a particular wall.
