More than 20 years on the market

The company's success began in 2002, when two artists — Andrey Ragozin and Evgeny Tsapko — created a small creative workshop for producing wooden carved items. The masters' work was quickly noticed, and within a year they were invited to participate in the reconstruction of the Konstantinovskiy Palace in Strelna.

After the success of this project, the company focused on recreating palace interiors, furniture, church furnishings, and carved decorations in various artistic styles. They worked with cultural heritage sites: The Hermitage, the Alexandrovsky Palace, the Troitsko-Izmaylovsky Cathedral, the Sheremetyevsky Mansion, and many others.

The masters' task — and still is — to create wooden items with the highest level of detail and understanding of every element, based on impeccable knowledge of artistic laws and interior styles.

CPU-1-2 Molded Decoration Set: Premium solution for refined interiors

The CPU-1-2 Molded Decoration Set from the 'Neoclassic' collection represents an expanded version of a decorative system for wall styling in an elegant neoclassical style. This premium set includes three types of carefully selected elements — two polyurethane overlays of different sizes and a primed MDF molding, which together form a multi-level luxurious composition for creating large-scale panels, frames, and decorative ensembles on walls.Neoclassic CollectionOffers ready-made solutions to realize classical aesthetics in modern interiors.

Composition of the Molded Decoration Set

The CPU-1-2 set consists of three types of decorative elements, each playing an important role in creating a cohesive, harmonious composition.

Polyurethane Moldings MLDPU-3-1

The polyurethane overlay MLDPU-3-1 is the central decorative element of the set, with impressive dimensions of 440 x 260 x 23 mm. This large-format overlay is designed to create expressive accents at the top of panels, above doorways, in wall sections between windows, or as a standalone decorative element on the wall.

The material is high-quality European polyurethane with a density ranging from 150 to 420 kg/m³, ensuring an ideal balance of strength and lightness. Despite its impressive size, the overlay weighs only a few hundred grams, significantly simplifying installation and avoiding excessive load on the wall.

The relief surface of the overlay is crafted with the highest level of detail, reproducing the finest nuances of the ornament. The relief depth reaches 23 mm, creating an expressive three-dimensional composition with rich chiaroscuro effects. The MLDPU-3-1 ornament is a complex symmetrical composition in the neoclassical style, featuring floral motifs, scrolls, rosettes, and geometric elements.

The 440 x 260 mm size makes this overlay optimal for creating horizontal accents in panels, framing paintings and mirrors, decorating wall sections. Vertical orientation is also possible to create elongated compositions that emphasize the height of the room.

The overlay is supplied in white, ready for painting with acrylic, latex, or water-dispersive paints in any shade. The surface requires no additional preparation — a light primer is sufficient to improve paint adhesion. Polyurethane also accepts decorative finishes — patina, gold leaf, silvering — creating effects of noble antiquity or palace luxury.

Polyurethane Moldings MLDPU-3-2

The polyurethane overlay MLDPU-3-2, with dimensions 375 x 355 x 33 mm, is the most voluminous and expressive element of the set. Its nearly square proportions make it universally suitable for placement in any orientation — vertical, horizontal, or diagonal.

The distinctive feature of MLDPU-3-2 is its significant relief depth of 33 mm, creating an impressive three-dimensional effect. This ornament’s volume transforms the overlay into a true sculptural composition, becoming the dominant element of the decorative ensemble. The interplay of light and shadow on the relief surface creates a painterly effect that varies depending on lighting conditions.

The MLDPU-3-2 ornament is a more complex and rich composition compared to MLDPU-3-1, including multi-level floral elements, volutes, cartouches, and other motifs characteristic of neoclassicism. High detail and clarity of each element are achieved through the use of professional molds and modern casting technology.

The 375 x 355 mm size makes this overlay ideal for placement in the center of panels, above doorways, in wall sections, as a central element of composition on accent walls. Overlays can be combined in pairs to create symmetrical compositions or used individually as standalone accents.

The material is the same high-quality polyurethane, ensuring uniform texture and properties across all set elements. Polyurethane’s moisture resistance allows using the overlay even in high-humidity rooms — kitchens, bathrooms, toilets — where traditional gypsum moldings quickly deteriorate.

Primed MDF Molding MLD-003-MG

The MLD-003-MG molding serves as the framing element of the entire composition, creating a frame for panels and unifying polyurethane overlays into a cohesive ensemble. The product is made from high-quality MDF — medium-density fiberboard — with a uniform structure, stable dimensions, and excellent workability.

The molding has a profile width of 35 mm and thickness of 12 mm — optimal parameters for creating a noticeable frame without excessive bulk. The plank length is 2600 mm, allowing the creation of large-scale panels with minimal joints. If necessary, the molding can be easily cut to any size and angle using a circular saw or miter saw.

The product is supplied primed to 'Premium' quality, meaning all surfaces have been meticulously hand-sanded and professionally primed. This treatment ensures a perfectly smooth surface without dents, scratches, or other defects, ready for final painting without additional preparation.

The MLD-003-MG molding profile is designed in a minimalist neoclassical style with smooth lines and restrained relief. This form harmonizes beautifully with both polyurethane overlays in the set, complementing rather than competing with them, delicately framing and accentuating their beauty.

Advantages of the expanded set

The CPU-1-2 set has several advantages that make it a preferred choice for creating complex large-scale compositions.

Multi-level composition

The presence of two overlays of different sizes and shapes allows creating multi-level compositions with rich element hierarchy. The large MLDPU-3-2 overlay serves as the central element, attracting primary attention, while MLDPU-3-1 acts as supplementary accents, supporting and enriching the composition.

Such a hierarchy of elements creates a dynamic, expressive composition that does not appear monotonous or uniform. The different relief depths — 23 mm for MLDPU-3-1 and 33 mm for MLDPU-3-2 — create an additional volumetric effect, enhancing the three-dimensionality of the decoration.

Design flexibility

The set of three types of elements opens up wide opportunities for creativity and experimentation with composition. The appliqués can be arranged in various configurations — symmetrically or asymmetrically, vertically or horizontally — creating unique compositions tailored to specific rooms.

The ability to use appliqués both together and individually allows the set to be adapted to rooms of different sizes and configurations. In a spacious living room, you can create a large mural using all elements, while in a compact bedroom, a more restrained composition with one or two appliqués is suitable.

Stylistic Integrity

All elements of the set are designed by professional designers as a unified system, ensuring their perfect harmony in style, proportions, and ornament character. There is no need to spend time selecting compatible elements from different collections — the set already represents a ready-made harmonious solution.

The neoclassical style of all elements is characterized by refined elegance, symmetry, and a balance between ornamentation and restraint. This is a universal style that looks equally well in classical and modern interiors.

Economic Efficiency

Purchasing a ready-made set is usually cheaper than buying elements individually. Additionally, you receive a professionally selected set of elements guaranteed to match each other, eliminating the risk of error when selecting decor independently.

Kit delivery also simplifies material calculation, budget planning, and project logistics. Everything necessary to create a complete decorative composition is delivered in one shipment.

Variants of Application in Interior

The decorative molding set CPU-1-2 opens up limitless creative possibilities for wall decoration in various rooms and stylistic directions.

Large murals in the living room

In a spacious living room, the CPU-1-2 set allows creating an impressive mural on an accent wall behind the sofa or fireplace. The large appliqué MLDPU-3-2 is placed at the center of the composition, appliqués MLDPU-3-1 are arranged on the sides or in the corners, and the molding MLD-003-MG forms the frame of the entire composition.

The sizes of the elements allow creating murals ranging from 2 to 6 square meters, making them a dominant feature of the interior. Such a large-scale decorative solution gives the living room a formal character, emphasizes the status of the setting, and highlights the owner’s impeccable taste.

The interior of the mural is painted in a contrasting color — if the walls are light, the mural may be dark (graphite, emerald, sapphire), and vice versa. It is possible to use wallpaper with a subtle pattern, decorative plaster, or Venetian plaster to create additional texture.

Decorating the dining area

In the dining room, the CPU-1-2 set is used to create a formal accent wall behind the dining table. Symmetrical murals with MLDPU-3-2 appliqués in the center and MLDPU-3-1 appliqués at the corners create a rhythmic structure, lending the dining area a festive atmosphere.

Such decoration is especially effective when combined with classic solid wood furniture, crystal chandeliers, and textile drapes. It creates an atmosphere of family celebrations and festive dinners, where every meal becomes a special occasion.

Luxurious bedroom

In the bedroom, the CPU-1-2 set is used to create a decorative composition on the wall behind the headboard. The large appliqué MLDPU-3-2 is placed in the center above the bed, creating the effect of a crown or canopy, while the MLDPU-3-1 appliqués are arranged symmetrically on the sides.

The molding forms a rectangular or arched frame, visually highlighting the bedroom area. This solution gives the bedroom an elegant hotel-like finish and a romantic atmosphere. The color scheme can vary from classic white to rich tones — dusty rose, lavender, mint — creating a calming ambiance.

Office decoration

In a home office or library, the CPU-1-2 set creates an atmosphere of solidity and respectability. Murals on the wall behind the desk, framing bookshelves, and decorating the relaxation zone — all these techniques are implemented using the set’s elements.

The neoclassical style of decoration combines beautifully with classic dark wood furniture, leather chairs, and library shelves. It creates an image of a successful person who values tradition and quality. The color scheme tends toward restrained noble tones — white, cream, gray, beige.

Grand foyer

In a spacious foyer or hall, the CPU-1-2 set is used to create a representative composition that sets the tone for the entire interior. Murals on accent walls, framing mirrors, decorating niches for sculptures or vases — the set’s elements form the first impression of the house.

Large appliqués MLDPU-3-2 create scale and monumentality, suitable for grand areas. A symmetrical composition with repeating elements creates a sense of order, harmony, and stability.wall moldingtransforms an ordinary foyer into a grand vestibule.

Installation technology of the set

Installation of the CPU-1-2 set elements is performed using standard mounting technology for polyurethane decoration and MDF molding, with certain nuances observed.

Preparation Stage

The wall must be flat, clean, dry, and strong. Significant unevenness exceeding 5 mm is leveled with putty; minor defects are permissible. The surface is cleaned of dust, dirt, grease stains, degreased, and primed with a deep-penetration acrylic primer.

Priming improves the adhesive bond of the glue to the substrate and prevents the decoration from peeling during use. The primer is applied with a roller or brush in one layer, with full drying before mounting. The drying time for the primer is typically 2–4 hours at a temperature of 20–25°C.

Composition design

Before mounting, the composition must be carefully designed, taking into account the room’s dimensions, furniture placement, and lighting sources. It is recommended to create a sketch on paper or in a graphic editor, defining the exact dimensions of the mural, distances between elements, and composition configuration.

When designing, the proportions of the golden section, symmetry, rhythm, and balance of elements are considered. The large appliqué MLDPU-3-2 is usually placed at the center of the composition or at focal points, while the MLDPU-3-1 appliqués serve as additional accents supporting the main theme.

Wall marking is performed using a laser level, tape measure, plumb line, and pencil. Panel corners, molding placement lines, and overlay centers are marked. Symmetrical compositions are marked from the central axis to ensure perfect symmetry.

Molding installation

Moldings are installed first, forming the composition's frame. Planks are cut to size using a miter saw, ensuring precise 45° or 90° angles. A sharp, fine-toothed blade and slow feed rate are used to achieve a clean cut without chipping.

For mounting MDF moldings, use a specialized wood adhesive or a universal polymer adhesive like 'liquid nails'. Adhesive is applied to the back of the molding in thin lines spaced 10-15 cm apart, or as a continuous strip for heavy elements.

The molding is pressed firmly against the wall strictly according to the marking and held for 30-60 seconds until the adhesive sets. For long planks, temporary fixation with painter’s tape or supports is recommended until the adhesive fully dries (24 hours). Excess adhesive is wiped off with a damp cloth before it dries.

Molding joints at corners must be as tight as possible with no gaps. If necessary, gaps are filled with acrylic sealant or wood putty, then sanded smooth with fine-grit sandpaper after drying. Perfect joints create the impression of a monolithic frame.

Installation of polyurethane appliques

After installing and drying the moldings, polyurethane appliques are installed. Special polyurethane adhesive is used, ensuring a secure bond and flexible seam that compensates for material thermal expansion.

Adhesive is applied to the entire back surface of the applique in a thin layer or in spots spaced 5-7 cm apart. For large appliques MLDPU-3-2, continuous adhesive application is recommended to ensure even contact with the wall.

The applique is pressed firmly against the wall at the marked location, strictly according to the marking, and held for 30-60 seconds until the adhesive sets. Due to the low weight of polyurethane appliques (even the largest weigh less than 1 kg), additional fixation is usually unnecessary. Excess adhesive is wiped off with a damp cloth.

It is important to ensure even contact of the applique with the wall over the entire surface without voids or delamination. Voids may lead to deformation or peeling of the applique during use. When installing on uneven walls, additional fixation points using self-tapping screws with subsequent covering of holes with putty may be used.

Final finishing

After the adhesive has fully dried (usually 24 hours), final finishing of the entire composition is performed. Joints between elements and gaps between decor and wall are filled with white acrylic sealant. Sealant is applied using a caulking gun in a thin bead, then smoothed with a wet finger or putty knife.

The entire decor surface is lightly sanded with fine-grit sandpaper (grit 220-320) to remove irregularities, adhesive residue, and prepare for painting. MDF moldings, when primed, usually do not require additional priming, but polyurethane appliques are recommended to be primed with acrylic primer to improve paint adhesion.

Painting is done using water-based acrylic or latex paints with a small roller or brush in 2-3 coats with intermediate drying time of 2-4 hours. The first coat is applied thinly to fill pores, subsequent coats are applied to achieve a rich, even color.

Decorative effects are achieved using patination techniques (applying contrasting pigment into relief recesses), gilding or silvering with gold or silver paints, or using semi-transparent finishes. These techniques emphasize the relief’s volume and give the decor an effect of noble antiquity or palace luxury.

Combination with other interior elements

The CPU-1-2 set requires thoughtful selection of accompanying interior elements to create a harmonious, cohesive overall look.

Furniture and furnishings

The neoclassical style of the set pairs best with furniture from classical and transitional styles — neoclassicism, American classic, modern classic, transitional. Prefer items with clean lines, symmetrical forms, restrained decoration.

Furniture materials — natural wood, veneer of valuable species, quality MDF with enamel finish. Upholstery — velvet, brocade, leather, linen, cotton in noble shades. Avoid overly decorated furniture in baroque or rococo styles, which will compete with wall decor for attention.

Lighting

Lighting plays a critically important role in perceiving the three-dimensional relief of appliques. Main lighting — chandeliers or ceiling fixtures — should be supplemented with directional lighting that highlights the decor. LED spotlights, wall sconces, and hidden backlighting create play of light and shadow on the relief.

Chandeliers or pendant lights are selected according to the decor style. For neoclassicism, suitable are fixtures with crystal elements, gold or chrome metal details, and classic-shaped textile shades. Avoid overly modern minimalist fixtures or excessively decorative baroque models.

Color palette

Color scheme for the interior with the CPU-1-2 set can vary from classic monochromatic to contrasting combinations. Basic option — white or cream decor on light walls in pastel shades (beige, gray, mint, dusty rose).

Contrasting solution implies white decor on dark walls (graphite, emerald, sapphire, burgundy) or dark decor on light walls. Such combinations create a dramatic, expressive effect and emphasize the relief’s volume.

Patination or gilding can be used to give the decor an effect of noble antiquity. Gold or silver patina in relief recesses on white or cream background creates a luxurious palace effect.

Textiles and accessories

Textiles — curtains, drapes, cushions, throws — should harmonize with the decor in style and color palette. For neoclassicism, suitable are natural fabrics with noble texture — linen, cotton, silk, brocade, velvet. Pattern may be solid, striped, or with classic ornament (damask, paisley, geometric).

Accessories — vases, sculptures, candlesticks, framed pictures — complete the interior look. It is important not to overload space with details so that the large-scale wall decor remains the main focal point. The principle of 'less is more' is especially relevant for rooms with large-scale sculptural decor.

Expansion of composition with collection elements

The CPU-1-2 set is part of the extensive 'Neoclassic' collection and can be supplemented with other elements to create more complex compositions.

Additional moldings

To create multi-level panels, the set can be supplemented with moldings of other profiles from the 'Neoclassic' collection. Using two or three types of moldings of different widths creates depth and complexity in the composition, emphasizing the hierarchy of elements.

Moldings can be placed either in the same plane as the main frame, creating a wider frame, or at different levels, forming a stepped structure. This solution is characteristic of high-style classical interiors.

Corner Elements and Rosettes

Adding corner elements and central rosettes from the "Neoclassic" collection allows creating an even more luxurious composition. Corner elements are placed at molding junctions, concealing connections and adding decorative appeal. Central rosettes become additional focal points.

Creating series compositions

Purchasing several sets of CPU-1-2 allows creating a series of identical or varied panels on different walls of a room or in different rooms. Repeating decorative motifs form a stylistic unity throughout the entire house or apartment.

Combining sets CPU-1-1 and CPU-1-2 allows creating compositions of varying complexity depending on the purpose and scale of the room. All elements from the "Neoclassic" collection harmonize perfectly with each other due to a unified style and professional design.

Care and Maintenance

The CPU-1-2 decorative molding set requires no complex maintenance and retains its original appearance when simple usage rules are followed.

Regular cleaning

To remove dust from the surface of the decoration, it is sufficient to periodically wipe it with a dry or slightly damp soft microfiber cloth. Raised areas of the appliqués with deep ornamentation are cleaned with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner with a furniture attachment on minimal power.

Cleaning frequency depends on the intensity of room usage – in the living room and dining room, weekly cleaning is recommended, while in the bedroom, cleaning every two weeks is sufficient. Regular cleaning prevents the accumulation of dirt in deep recesses of the relief.

Removing stains

For stains or dirt, use soft cleaning agents for painted surfaces, diluted in warm water. The solution is applied with a soft cloth or sponge, and the dirt is gently removed without vigorous rubbing. Then, the surface is wiped with a clean damp cloth and dried thoroughly.

Abrasive cleaning agents, stiff brushes, metal sponges, solvents, and aggressive chemical compounds that may damage the painted surface or the material itself must not be used. Also, excessive soaking of MDF moldings with water is not recommended.

Repair of damage

For minor scratches or scuffs on the painted surface, local touch-up with the same paint is sufficient. The paint is applied with a fine brush, and after drying, it is lightly blended for a seamless transition.

More serious damage to MDF moldings – chips, dents – are repaired with wood putty. The defect is filled with putty, sanded after drying, primed, and painted. Polyurethane appliqués, due to the material’s elasticity, are practically immune to chips and cracks.

If a decorative element detaches from the wall, carefully separate it, clean the backside and wall surface of any remaining old adhesive, apply fresh adhesive, and firmly press the element back into place. Properly installed decoration with quality adhesive will last for decades without peeling.

Interior refresh

Painted decoration can be repainted multiple times when changing the interior’s color concept without removing the elements. To do this, the surface is lightly sanded with fine-grit sandpaper to remove gloss, cleaned of dust, primed if necessary, and painted in the new color.

The ability to change color makes the CPU-1-2 set a long-term investment in your interior. The same decoration can adapt to various stylistic solutions – from classic white to bold saturated shades – simply by repainting.
