We have our own furniture production and have been in touch with Stavros for many years. We regularly order sockets and brackets from them. The quality of the wooden decor in the Prestige finish is simply top-notch; the elements arrive perfectly prepared for painting. I would also like to mention the bulletproof packaging: everything is wrapped in stretch film, padded with foam material, and packed in thick cardboard. It arrives in perfect condition. A true luxury level, we will continue working together.
More than 20 years on the market
The company's success began in 2002, when two artists — Andrey Ragozin and Evgeny Tsapko — created a small creative workshop for producing wooden carved items. The masters' work was quickly noticed, and within a year they were invited to participate in the reconstruction of the Konstantinovskiy Palace in Strelna.
After the success of this project, the company focused on recreating palace interiors, furniture, church furnishings, and carved decorations in various artistic styles. They worked with cultural heritage sites: The Hermitage, the Alexandrovsky Palace, the Troitsko-Izmaylovsky Cathedral, the Sheremetyevsky Mansion, and many others.
The masters' task — and still is — to create wooden items with the highest level of detail and understanding of every element, based on impeccable knowledge of artistic laws and interior styles.

Wooden honeycomb tile DP-003 for three-dimensional wall finishing and interior accents
Wooden panel DP-003 is a compact module made of natural wood with expressive hexagonal geometry. A single element resembles a honeycomb: six facets form a regular rhythm, and the edge finished along the perimeter emphasizes the shape and makes the surface visually three-dimensional. When several elements are joined, a complete decorative composition emerges that can be extended in virtually any direction, forming a small insert, an accent strip, or a full wall panel.
The element measures 150 × 169 × 24 mm. This thickness allows DP-003 to be perceived not as flat wooden cladding, but as standalone architectural decor. Light travels along the chamfers and facets, creating soft transitions from light to shadow and emphasizing each wooden "honeycomb." This effect is especially noticeable with side natural lighting, wall lighting, or directional light.
The panel is available in beech and oak. This is fundamentally important for the design: the geometry of the modules remains the same, but the character of the surface changes with the wood species. Oak has a more pronounced natural grain, while beech looks calmer and more uniform. Thanks to this, wooden honeycomb panels can be used both in interiors built on the expressive texture of natural wood and in more restrained modern spaces.
DP-003 is suitable for wall finishing, decorative panels, niches, TV zones, headboards, individual architectural planes, interior inserts, and other areas where it is necessary to create a natural relief surface without using large-format wall panels.
Hexagonal wooden panel as a modular system
The main feature of DP-003 is not only the natural material, but also the geometry itself. An ordinary wooden wall panel is perceived as a finished rectangular element. Here the principle is different: one wooden tile is part of a system, and the final form of the decor is determined during layout design.
Hexagonal wooden panels can be joined to one another along their edges, creating a distinctive honeycomb pattern. That is why the same model can look completely different in different interiors. A few modules make a compact group above a console or a bedside table. Several dozen elements make a large decorative panel. If the cladding is continued further, the wooden honeycombs turn into a full-fledged textured wall.
This principle is especially convenient when a designer needs to move away from the standard rectangular boundary of the finish. The composition does not have to end with a straight vertical line. The edge can be made stepped, diagonal, asymmetrical, or gradually "dissolved" with individual elements on a painted wall.
It is precisely this freedom that makes honeycomb wooden tiles interesting for individual interior projects. The shape of the product is predetermined, but the user creates the final pattern independently.
DP-003 can be used as standalone decor or combined with other materials: a painted wall, decorative plaster, stone, metal, glass, mirror, furniture surfaces. Natural wood acts as a visually warm material and helps soften large smooth planes.
DP-003 size — 150 × 169 × 24 mm
The dimensions of an individual wooden panel are chosen so that the module remains large enough for well-readable geometry, but does not turn into a massive large-format slab.
Width A — 150 mm.
Height B — 169 mm.
Thickness C — 24 mm.
On the wall, the size of one element allows both the hexagonal shape and the natural wood grain to be clearly seen. At the same time, the main decorative effect appears precisely after several panels are combined.
The 24 mm thickness has a significance of its own. DP-003 stands out noticeably from the wall plane. As a result, the edge of the panel becomes part of the design: the bevel catches the light, and a pronounced geometric rhythm emerges between adjacent elements.
If the lighting is positioned to the side or from above at an angle, the relief is enhanced. In diffused daylight, the wall looks calmer, while with evening architectural lighting, the volume becomes more contrasting.
For this reason, before installation it is important to consider not only the area of the composition, but also its position relative to the light fixtures. The same 3D wood panel changes visually depending on the direction of the light.
Wooden honeycomb panels made of oak
The DP-003 option in oak is suitable for interiors where the natural wood grain should remain a noticeable part of the composition.
Oak has clearly visible fibers, transitions of shades, and natural variations in the pattern. On a single hexagonal panel, this already looks expressive, but a particularly interesting effect arises when many elements are joined together: the wood lines on adjacent pieces never become absolutely identical.
Thanks to this, the honeycomb geometry remains strict, while the surface itself does not look mechanically repetitive.
It is precisely the combination of precise shape and irregular natural pattern that distinguishes solid wood panels from wood imitations. Even with identical processing, two pieces can differ in fiber direction, shade intensity, and pattern.
Oak wall panels pair well with natural stone, calm textiles, solid-colored furniture, matte metal, and surfaces in neutral colors. Oak works especially organically in interiors where wood is already present in the floor, furniture, staircase, doors, or other architectural details.
It is not necessary to exactly match the color of the other wooden elements. Sometimes a difference of a few tones gives a more expressive result, as long as all the materials are within one common warm or cool palette.
Wooden honeycomb panels made of beech
Beech creates a different character of surface. Its grain, as a rule, is perceived as calmer, so the geometry of the hexagons comes to the fore.
Beech wall panels are suitable for interiors that require natural wood without an overly active texture. Light wood works well in modern, Scandinavian, minimalist, and natural styles.
If oak often becomes a standalone visual accent due to its fiber pattern, beech allows the very shape of DP-003 to be emphasized more strongly.
This is useful when creating a large panel. When dozens of hexagons are placed next to each other, an overly active texture can compete with the geometry. A calmer wood grain helps achieve a clean composition of repeating honeycombs.
Beech can be combined with light walls, milky and gray-beige shades, natural textiles, calm furniture fronts, and black or graphite metal details.
When choosing between oak and beech, it is more correct to base the decision not only on the shade. You need to decide what should play the main role: the pattern of the wood itself or the geometric pattern of the panels.
Natural wood makes every composition unique
DP-003 is a decorative panel made of natural wood, so one should not expect a complete visual match of all elements with each other.
The difference in pattern is not a defect, but a natural property of the material. The fibers may run at a different angle, individual areas may be slightly lighter or darker, the pattern of one panel may be calmer, and another more contrasting.
With a large number of elements, it is precisely these differences that make the finished wall interesting.
Before final installation, it is useful to lay the wooden panels out on a horizontal surface and look at the composition as a whole. Elements can be swapped to achieve the desired distribution of the pattern.
For example, the most expressive panels can be grouped closer to the center of the decorative area. Another option is to distribute them evenly across the surface instead, so that no single overly active area appears.
For large projects, such preliminary selection is especially important. Decorative wooden panels work not only as individual pieces — after installation they turn into a single surface, so it is advisable to evaluate the composition as a whole.
A bevel around the perimeter enhances the volume
In the photos of DP-003, the edge treatment is clearly visible. The front surface does not end with a sharp straight edge: a transition is formed along the perimeter that visually separates one honeycomb from another.
When the panels are joined, the bevels form a system of lines. Even if adjacent elements are installed almost flush, each hexagon continues to read as a separate unit.
This is an important feature of the product. If the surface remained completely flat, after installing several identical elements the pattern could be perceived as ordinary wooden cladding. Here, however, the construction retains its modularity.
Directional light further emphasizes this effect. A small highlight appears on one side of the bevel, and a shadow on the opposite side. As a result, volumetric wooden panels gain depth without a complex carved ornament.
That is precisely why DP-003 is suitable for modern interiors: the decorative effect is created not by a classic pattern, but by the geometry itself, the material, and the interplay of light and shadow.
Wooden wall tile for the TV area
One of the most natural uses of DP-003 is finishing the wall in the TV area.
A large smooth surface behind the screen often looks empty. At the same time, a too-active wallpaper pattern or ornament can distract attention. Wooden honeycombs allow you to create a background with a well-readable texture, but without narrative decor.
There are several layout options.
You can fill the entire surface behind the TV with wooden panels. In this case, you get a pronounced accent wall.
The second option is to create a wide panel around the TV, leaving the other walls plain.
The third is to use an asymmetrical composition in which the wooden tile is located only on one side of the screen and gradually ends with individual honeycombs.
The latter method especially well reveals the modular nature of DP-003. Instead of an ordinary rectangle, an individual composition emerges.
When planning a TV area, it is necessary to take into account sockets, cable outlets, the bracket, and other equipment in advance. It is advisable to plan the layout before installation begins so that technical elements do not end up in an inconvenient place relative to the boundaries of the hexagons.
Honeycomb panels for the bedroom and headboard area
Wooden wall panels in the bedroom are most often used in the bed area. Natural wood is well suited for this task thanks to its warm texture and visually soft character as a material.
DP-003 allows you to design the headboard in a much more interesting way than a regular rectangular wooden insert.
The panel can begin directly behind the bed and rise to the ceiling. You can create a wide horizontal composition covering the bed and the bedside tables. You can assemble an asymmetrical group of honeycombs on just one side.
If oak is used, the wall becomes more expressive thanks to the natural grain. Beech allows you to achieve a calmer, lighter background.
With well-planned lighting, the wooden hexagons look especially good in the evening. Pendant lights, wall sconces, or hidden side lighting emphasize the chamfers and create soft shadows.
In the bedroom, this allows you to solve two tasks at once: create a visual focal point for the room and add a natural material without a large amount of additional decor.
Decorative wooden panels for the hallway
A hallway often consists of a large number of functional elements: doors, a wardrobe, a mirror, a console, a coat rack. Ordinary wall finishing can get lost among them.
A small composition made of DP-003 can unite these elements.
For example, honeycomb wall panels can be placed next to a mirror. Natural wood creates contrast with the reflective surface, while the geometry of the hexagons emphasizes the modern character of the design.
Another option is to create a wooden backdrop behind a console or an open coat rack.
For a narrow hallway, it is not necessary to clad the entire wall. A few rows of wooden honeycomb panels allow you to create a noticeable accent without overloading the space.
When using panels in passage areas, it is important to take into account in advance how far the product protrudes from the wall. The thickness of DP-003 is 24 mm, so the composition is best placed where it does not interfere with opening doors, moving furniture, or everyday passage.
Wooden wall panel for the living room
In the living room, DP-003 can serve as standalone wall decor.
Instead of a painting, poster, or ordinary decorative panel, you can assemble a composition directly from natural wood.
The advantage of this solution is that the panel does not have a predetermined image. It works through material, texture, shape, and lighting, so it fits more easily into the interior and depends less on changes in furniture or textiles.
Hexagonal wooden panels can be placed above a sofa, between windows, near a fireplace, in a dining area, or on a free wall.
A composition that does not have an ordinary rectangular frame looks especially interesting. A few outer honeycomb cells can extend beyond the main boundary, forming an irregular contour.
This technique allows the panel to be visually connected to the surrounding wall and emphasizes the very principle of modular finishing.
Design of an office, workspace, and meeting room
Natural wooden panels are used not only in residential interiors. DP-003 is suitable for designing offices, meeting rooms, reception areas, executive spaces, and other commercial interiors where a distinctive design feature is needed.
In a business interior, the combination of wood with a solid-colored wall is especially effective.
A small fragment of wooden honeycombs behind a desk helps highlight the main area of the office. A larger composition can become a backdrop for a meeting room or reception desk.
In a commercial space, the very possibility of individual layout is also of interest. From identical elements, you can build a shape that matches the specific architecture of a wall, furniture, or branded composition.
At the same time, wooden 3D panels look convincing even without complex additional finishing: their value is created by natural wood, precise geometry, and volume.
DP-003 as a material for an interior designer
For a designer, the modular panel is convenient because it does not dictate a single usage scenario.
A large ready-made wall slab has fixed boundaries. DP-003 is significantly smaller, so the composition can be adapted to a specific space.
This is especially useful when working with walls of complex configuration, narrow wall sections, niches, and areas between furniture.
The hexagonal module can be used as a kind of construction set. First, the overall decorative area is determined, then a grid is built and the position of each element is calculated.
In the visualization, several options can be checked in advance: dense continuous filling, a local fragment, a horizontal strip, a vertical composition, or a free edge.
Thanks to this, wooden wall panels become not just a finishing material, but a tool for designing the surface.
Continuous wall finishing with wooden honeycombs
If you need to achieve the strongest possible decorative effect, DP-003 can be used to create a large continuous field.
When many hexagonal elements are joined together, the pattern begins to resemble a natural honeycomb structure. Rhythm comes to the fore.
At the same time, natural wood keeps the surface from becoming too mechanical: each module differs slightly in pattern.
A large wall made of wooden honeycombs is well perceived from some distance. Up close, a person sees the grain and the wood finish, while from a distant point, they see the overall geometric structure.
It is precisely this combination of two scales that is the strength of DP-003.
For a large composition, it is especially important to determine the starting line of installation in advance. A small error in the first rows is gradually transferred to the remaining elements, so the initial geometry must be set very precisely.
Local composition instead of cladding the entire wall
For an expressive interior, it is not at all necessary to buy wooden panels to finish the entire room.
DP-003 works well in small groups.
For example, 10–20 modules can create a noticeable decorative accent. The quantity depends on the required area and the chosen layout pattern.
You can create a composition around a light fixture, mirror, shelf, or piece of furniture.
A transition looks interesting when a dense field gradually breaks up into individual hexagons. This approach is practically impossible to achieve with ordinary rectangular wall panels without a large amount of cutting.
With DP-003, the shape of the individual modules is already part of the pattern, so the open edge of the composition looks complete.
Light as part of the design of a wooden panel
When choosing a place for DP-003, lighting must be taken into account.
Frontal, even light primarily shows the natural wood pattern. Side light emphasizes the geometry and chamfers more strongly.
If the light source is positioned above, the lower part of each panel receives a slight shadow. When directed from the side, a repeating vertical light-and-shadow pattern appears.
That is why wooden panels with a three-dimensional effect are especially well revealed next to architectural lighting.
For a large wall, you can check the placement of track lights in advance. For a small panel, sometimes a single sconce or a directional spotlight is enough.
In daylight, the effect also changes throughout the day. In the morning, the composition may look almost flat, while when side sunlight appears, it becomes significantly more textured.
Oak and beech finishes
Natural wood can be left as close as possible to its natural appearance, or the shade can be changed with a finishing product.
For wood, transparent and tinting coatings, lacquers, oils, and other systems are used that are compatible with the specific species and operating conditions.
A transparent finish emphasizes the natural color. Tinting makes it possible to bring the panel closer to the color of the floor, furniture, or other wooden elements.
In oak, a change in tone often further emphasizes the pores and grain pattern. In beech, the result usually looks more uniform.
Before treating the entire batch, it is reasonable to make a test finish on a separate sample or an inconspicuous part. Natural wood can react differently to the same product, so judging the color only by the coating catalog is not enough.
If you plan to do the final finishing yourself, you must follow the manufacturer's technology for the chosen lacquer, oil, or other material.
Prestige sanding quality
For DP-003, the sanding quality is specified as "Prestige".
For a product of this shape, surface quality is especially important. On a flat wooden board, a small difference in edge treatment may be practically unnoticeable. In the honeycomb system, the perimeter of each element is constantly in view.
Chamfers, corners, and the front surface are part of the overall pattern, so careful preparation affects not only the tactile feel but also the appearance of the entire composition.
Well-prepared wood also creates the right base for the subsequent application of the finishing coat.
After receiving the product, before applying your own composition, you should still take into account the recommendations of the manufacturer of the specific finishing system: some coatings require additional intercoat treatment or special preparation.
How to prepare the layout before installation
It is better to start installing wooden honeycombs not with glue, but with a layout plan.
First, you need to measure the wall area and determine the boundaries of the composition.
After that, it is useful to find the visual center or the main reference point — for example, the axis of the TV, bed, mirror, or furniture group.
Then you can lay out the elements without fixing them and check the future pattern.
This approach solves several problems at once. First, the actual size of the composition becomes clear. Second, the panels can be distributed according to the wood grain. Third, it becomes visible in advance where the sockets, switches and other wall elements will be located.
For a large area, it is advisable to mark control lines. The geometry of the honeycomb is sensitive to the accumulation of small errors, so relying only on the previously installed panel is not enough.
Base for wooden wall panels
The surface for installing decorative panels must be strong, dry and sufficiently level.
If the wall has noticeable unevenness, the geometry of the modules may be disrupted. One element will end up slightly higher than the neighboring one, the chamfers will no longer form an even pattern, and the joints will become more noticeable.
The base should be prepared especially carefully for a large continuous panel.
Before installation, it is advisable to let natural wood acclimate in the room where it will be used, so that the material adapts to the interior conditions.
The specific fastening method should be selected taking into account the base, the weight of the composition and the recommendations of the mounting system manufacturer. Different materials may be used for different walls — plaster, concrete, gypsum boards, wooden base.
Natural wood and the indoor microclimate
Oak and beech are natural materials. Wood reacts to changes in temperature and air humidity.
Therefore, a wooden panel cannot be perceived in the same way as ceramic tile or a metal sheet.
For a stable result, a normal indoor microclimate without constant extreme humidification or overdrying is important.
Conventional interior wooden panels should not be installed in places of direct constant contact with water without a specially provided protection system.
If the project involves demanding operating conditions, the finish option, installation, and protective coating should be selected separately.
In a normal residential interior, natural wood is a predictable material with proper preparation, installation, and use.
Care for the wooden panel DP-003
The main care for a decorative wooden surface consists of regular dust removal.
For this, you can use a soft dry cloth or a gentle vacuum attachment.
It is advisable to clean the chamfers between the elements without abrasive products so as not to damage the finish coating.
The method of wet cleaning depends on the composition used to treat the wood. Varnish, oil, and other finishes have different requirements, so the care rules for the finish must be considered separately.
Aggressive solvents and harsh abrasives should not be used unless their use is expressly provided for by the finish manufacturer.
Combining DP-003 with wooden furniture
If there is wooden furniture in the room, it is not necessary to try to achieve an absolute match of the pattern.
In most interiors, it is more important to coordinate the overall shade and warmth of the wood.
For example, oak honeycomb panels can be combined with an oak table but have a slightly different tone. This looks natural, since natural wood is in any case non-uniform.
If the furniture has a very active pattern, beech can be considered for the wall. If the furniture is minimalist and monochrome, oak DP-003 can become the main textural accent.
A wooden panel can also be contrasted with the furniture by color: light wood on a dark wall or a deeper wood shade against a light background.
Combining with plaster and painted walls
One of the cleanest design options is wooden honeycomb panels on a solid-color wall.
The smooth surface becomes a background, while the wood adds texture.
On a white or milky wall, light beech creates a calm, natural composition. Oak provides a more noticeable contrast in texture.
On a graphite, dark blue, or deep green surface, natural wood appears brighter and warmer.
With decorative plaster, it is important to consider its own texture. If the background is already very busy, a large number of wooden honeycombs can overwhelm the wall. In that case, it is better to use DP-003 locally.
Modern interior and minimalism
Despite the natural material, DP-003 does not belong only to classic wooden decor.
The hexagonal shape makes the product especially suitable for modern design.
In a minimalist interior, a small beech composition can be used on a light wall. It will add texture without disrupting the overall laconic feel.
In a more contrasting modern interior, oak panels work well next to black metal, concrete, glass, and stone.
The main advantage here lies in the absence of additional ornamentation. The decorativeness is created by the construction itself: natural wood + geometry + texture.
Eco-style and natural interiors
For interiors built on natural materials, honeycomb wood panels look especially organic.
The geometry of the honeycomb has a natural association, yet the product does not literally copy a natural form. Thanks to this, the composition remains modern.
Wood can be combined with linen, wool, stone, ceramics, calm natural shades, and living plants.
At the same time, it is not necessary to fill a large area with panels. Even a compact composition helps make the interior visually warmer.
How to calculate the number of panels
The quantity of DP-003 should be calculated specifically according to the future layout scheme.
Simply multiplying the width and height of the wall for a modular honeycomb does not always provide sufficient accuracy, especially if the edge of the composition must be shaped.
First, it is advisable to draw a grid taking into account the element size of 150 × 169 mm, then mark the actual number of whole panels.
If trimming along the edges is planned, the allowance must be taken into account separately.
For a free asymmetrical composition, it is more convenient to count the number of modules directly from the layout rather than by square meters.
For a large project, the extra stock also allows you to select elements by wood grain and avoid stopping installation if an additional piece is needed.
Why DP-003 is more interesting than ordinary flat wooden cladding
An ordinary wooden surface is valued primarily for the texture of the material. DP-003 adds a second decorative level to it — geometry.
At first, the viewer sees the overall honeycomb pattern. Then, moving closer, they notice the individual fibers of oak or beech. As the light changes, the chamfers and shadows become visible.
Thus, a single surface works on several levels of perception at once.
This makes the DP-003 wooden panel suitable for cases where the interior needs expressive texture, but complex carving or rich ornamentation would be excessive.
Buy honeycomb wooden panels for an individual project
DP-003 should be considered not as a separate decorative detail, but as a module for building your own composition.
The buyer independently determines the scale of the finish: a few wooden elements for a small accent, a medium-sized panel, or a full wall.
Oak is the right choice when an expressive natural texture and varied grain pattern are especially important. Beech should be chosen for a calmer, lighter, and more uniform surface.
The size of 150 × 169 × 24 mm ensures a clearly readable shape and noticeable relief, while the Prestige sanding quality matches the decorative purpose of the product.
If the goal is to buy wooden wall panels that do not create standard rectangular cladding, DP-003 offers significantly more design possibilities. Hexagonal modules allow you to change the shape of the panel, create an open edge, extend the composition in the desired direction, and adapt it to the architecture of a specific space.
Wooden panel DP-003 — geometry shaped by wood itself
The model's strength lies in the combination of a very simple shape with the richness of natural material.
The hexagon is versatile and easy to repeat. But oak or beech never repeat the pattern in exactly the same way. As a result, the strict grid gains natural variation.
DP-003 can be used in the living room, bedroom, hallway, study, office, meeting room, reception area, or any other interior that requires natural wall decor.
It can be a small group of elements, a wooden panel, or a large honeycomb surface. The panel combines with painted walls, plaster, stone, metal, glass, and furniture materials.
For projects where not only the wood but also the architecture of the surface itself matters, wooden tile DP-003 allows you to achieve expressive relief without complex ornamentation. Natural oak or beech provide the texture, the hexagonal shape provides the rhythm, the chamfer provides the depth, and lighting completes the composition.
That is why DP-003 is suitable not only for those looking for ordinary wooden wall panels, but also for those who need honeycomb panels, honeycomb wooden tiles, hexagonal wooden panels, decorative solid wood panels, three-dimensional wooden panels, oak wall panels, or beech panels for interiors. This is modular wall decor that allows you to build a surface to match the specific architecture of a space, rather than adapting the interior to the standard format of a ready-made panel.
