The company ordered the pens for us when we ordered furniture. But I decided to write a review personally because they are amazing! Stylish, expensive, high-quality!
More than 20 years on the market
The company's success began in 2002, when two artists — Andrey Ragozin and Evgeny Tsapko — created a small creative workshop for producing wooden carved items. The masters' work was quickly noticed, and within a year they were invited to participate in the reconstruction of the Konstantinovskiy Palace in Strelna.
After the success of this project, the company focused on recreating palace interiors, furniture, church furnishings, and carved decorations in various artistic styles. They worked with cultural heritage sites: The Hermitage, the Alexandrovsky Palace, the Troitsko-Izmaylovsky Cathedral, the Sheremetyevsky Mansion, and many others.
The masters' task — and still is — to create wooden items with the highest level of detail and understanding of every element, based on impeccable knowledge of artistic laws and interior styles.

Wooden molding MLD-063 for furniture, facades and interior decoration
wooden molding MLD-063 is a narrow decorative profile with a beveled shape for neat finishing of visible lines in furniture and interiors. It is not just a thin strip or a technical corner: MLD-063 is a formed decorative profile that helps make a furniture or interior detail visually complete: emphasize the contour, close the transition, create a decorative frame or neatly highlight the edge of a facade, panel or overlay element.
The molding is available in three materials — MDF, beech and oak — and is intended for decorative use with subsequent finishing: enamel, tinting, varnish or oil. The beveled shape of the profile creates a soft, neat transition on the visible edges of the product — exactly where a flat joint would look rough, and a massive molding would overload the composition.
Where is MLD-063 molding used
MLD-063 — universal Decorative Molding for Furniture, which seamlessly fits into a wide range of furniture and interior tasks.
Furniture facades are one of the main application scenarios for MLD-063. The molding is glued or attached along the perimeter of the facade, creating a decorative frame or highlighted contour. This is applicable both for classic frame-and-panel construction and for modern facades where a line without voluminous stucco is needed.
Cabinets, dressers, nightstands, consoles, and sideboards — MLD-063 is used for finishing outer edges, decorative belts along the facade perimeter, designing joints between sections, and creating a relief pattern on a flat surface.
Wall panels and interior molding compositions — decorative layout along the panel contour creates the effect of voluminous frame decor. MLD-063 is suitable as a divider between paneling zones and as a frame molding around the perimeter of each field.
Decorative frames on walls are one of the most popular modern interior techniques: geometric frames made of molding on a painted wall. MLD-063 with its compact 14 mm profile creates a laconic, thin frame without extra volume.
Door panels and overlay elements — molding along the perimeter of the door panel or along the mirror insert gives the door a decorative profile without completely replacing the structure.
Designing transitions, edges, and joints — where two parts of different levels or different materials meet on a visible line, MLD-063 neatly covers the joint area and gives it a decorative finished look.
Custom furniture — in non-standard projects, MLD-063 is used as a decorative strip that forms a line, rhythm, or relief on the product surface.
MLD-063 can be used as wooden furniture molding, decorative trim, narrow strip or profile for finishing visible elements made of wood and MDF. The function is determined by the project task, not by the specific product name.
Size 14 mm and beveled profile: what this means in practice
Profile MLD-063 has a height A = 14 mm — it is a compact, narrow molding that does not create visual heaviness on the product. Depth C is 8 mm in MDF and 9 mm in beech and oak. The slight difference in depth between materials is due to processing characteristics and does not affect the visual result during standard installation.
The beveled shape of the profile is a key characteristic of MLD-063. Unlike a rectangular profile, a beveled molding does not create a sharp shadow step at the part's edge. It smoothly 'transitions' the product's plane into the profile, creating a soft transition that is well visible under side lighting and does not look rough under direct light. This is especially important on facades and panels that are in the line of sight: a beveled profile looks like a 'detailed element' rather than a 'glued-on strip'.
The length of the molding depends on the chosen material: MDF is supplied in lengths of 2600 mm, beech and oak in lengths of 1000 mm or 2400 mm. Before ordering, it is necessary to check the required length against the project, calculate the cutting plan, and account for a reserve for cutting corners when forming frames.
MLD-063 is suitable where a neat decorative contour without massive volume is needed: a thin line on a facade, a delicate frame on a panel, a precise finishing profile on the edge of a product.
Materials: MDF, beech, and oak
Decorative molding MLD-063 is produced in three materials, and the choice between them is entirely determined by the final finish and the structural context of the product.
MDF: stability for painted solutions
MDF is a homogeneous, stable material with no internal texture or fibers. It does not warp with changes in humidity to the extent typical of solid wood, is easy to mill, and produces a clean, predictable profile. MDF molding — the optimal choice for painted furniture fronts, enamel wall panels, and interior molding compositions where an absolutely even color without texture is required.
MDF cuts require additional priming — the cut surface of this material is more porous than the longitudinal surface. When working with frames and adjoining corners, this must be considered at the preparation stage for painting.
Beech: natural solid wood for enamel and varnish
Beech molding combines the characteristics of natural wood with a relatively calm, neutral texture. Beech accepts primer and enamel well: its surface does not cause aggressive "breakthrough" of texture through the coating and, after sanding, looks almost as smooth as MDF.
Beech is suitable for projects where a natural wood base is important — for example, in mixed constructions where molding joins with other wooden elements, or where a glazing varnish with light tinting is planned, which does not completely cover the texture.
Oak: expressive texture for tinting and oil
Oak molding — a choice for projects where the natural wood grain is a decorative asset, not an "obstacle." Oak with tinting, oil, or clear varnish retains the characteristic fibers and "mirrors" of the species — natural graphics that make each product visually unique.
On a beveled molding surface 14 mm wide, the oak grain is clearly readable: the side surface of the profile acts as a small "showcase" of texture, especially under side lighting. Oak MLD-063 in dark walnut or cool gray-brown tones is an organic solution for furniture and interiors where the naturalness of wood is a fundamental decorative idea.
It is better to choose the material based on the final finish: MDF and beech for painted solutions, oak for projects with an open wood texture.
"Prestige" sanding quality: readiness for final coating
On decorative molding installed on visible elements of furniture and interiors, surface quality is paramount. Sanding defects on the profile of a facade, frame, or wall panel are clearly visible under side lighting and show through tinting even before painting.
The "Prestige" quality for MLD-063 means consistent final sanding of all profile surfaces: the front beveled plane, side edges, and rear mounting plane. For a beveled profile, uniform chamfer processing without "waves" or tool marks is especially important, as well as clean edges in transition areas from the bevel to flat surfaces.
The molding is supplied ready for primer and final coating without additional manual preparation under standard conditions. This reduces preparation time in furniture production and eliminates the need for re-sanding after receiving a batch.
How to choose MLD-063 molding for a project
Step 1 — determine the location and function. MLD-063 on a facade as a frame decorative contour, on a wall panel as a divider between fields, on the transition between parts as a covering profile — these are different installation tasks. Clearly define what role the molding will play in the specific product.
Step 2 — choose the material. MDF — for enamel and dense color, beech — for enamel or natural-based glazing lacquer, oak — for tinting, oil, or clear lacquer with open texture. If the molding will join with MDF cabinet parts — choose MDF. If the product is entirely solid wood — choose the same species as the main material.
Step 3 — select the length and calculate cutting. For straight applications — horizontal or vertical lines — the calculation is straightforward. For frames with corner joints, you need to account for 45° cutting and accordingly increase the material allowance: each corner requires an additional 15 to 25 mm per side depending on the profile depth.
Step 4 — check size compatibility with the project. The profile is 14 mm in height and 8–9 mm in depth — this is a compact molding. Ensure the product scale matches: on large facades 800 × 800 mm and above, MLD-063 creates a delicate, thin line; for a more expressive decorative contour, a wider profile from the same series may be required.
Step 5 — plan the final finish in advance. For enamel with several layers of primer, the actual width of the visible profile increases slightly. For precise results on critical products, it is recommended to make a test sample with painting before final ordering of the entire batch.
Step 6 — order with a margin. For complex molding compositions with corner joints, cutting, and possible rework, it is recommended to order molding with a 10–15% margin over the calculated footage.
