More than 20 years on the market
The company's success began in 2002, when two artists — Andrey Ragozin and Evgeny Tsapko — created a small creative workshop for producing wooden carved items. The masters' work was quickly noticed, and within a year they were invited to participate in the reconstruction of the Konstantinovskiy Palace in Strelna.
After the success of this project, the company focused on recreating palace interiors, furniture, church furnishings, and carved decorations in various artistic styles. They worked with cultural heritage sites: The Hermitage, the Alexandrovsky Palace, the Troitsko-Izmaylovsky Cathedral, the Sheremetyevsky Mansion, and many others.
The masters' task — and still is — to create wooden items with the highest level of detail and understanding of every element, based on impeccable knowledge of artistic laws and interior styles.

AL75 Polystyrene HI WOOD 76mm x 50mm x 2.0m — a classic solution with a volumetric profile for expressive interiors
The ceiling cornice AL75 from the South Korean brand HI WOOD is a high-tech polystyrene product of high density with striking proportions: height 76mm and width 50mm. ThisPolystyrene Cornice2000mm long is specifically designed for rooms with high ceilings from 2.8 to 3.2 meters, where a powerful architectural accent and volumetric decorative effect are required. The pristine smooth surface of the cornice with its classic profile creates a respectable transition between wall and ceiling, giving the interior architectural solidity and expressive completeness.
The balanced profile construction with a height of 76 millimeters and width of 50 millimeters provides a noticeable visual weight and monumental decorative element. This makesceiling cornice polystyreneAL75 an optimal choice for spacious rooms, country houses, cottages, apartments with non-standard layouts, where the item creates a powerful architectural accent without visual overload. The classic profile geometry with smooth transitions and expressive lines forms a noble play of light and shadow, highlighting the status and respectability of the space.
The weight of a two-meter plank is 320-360 grams, making the product 5-6 times lighter than gypsum molding of comparable dimensions. Installation is performed by one person with an assistant to support long planks using reinforced polystyrene mounting adhesive (liquid nails). The profile's structural features allow compensation for wall irregularities up to 6-8 millimeters without additional leveling, reducing preparatory labor.
HI WOOD's technology for producing volumetric profiles
The South Korean company HI WOOD uses advanced extrusion technologies to produce the AL75 cornice with volumetric proportions. Premium-grade polystyrene polymer mass at 190-200 degrees Celsius is extruded through a specially designed wide-profile die made of hardened tool steel with geometric accuracy down to 0.03 millimeters. This ensures perfect repeatability of the large profile along the entire length of the plank without any deviations.
MaterialDecorative cornices made of polystyreneAL75 has a density of 38-42 kg/m³, providing an optimal balance between lightness and mechanical strength of the volumetric profile. Closed-pore structure with pore size 0.10-0.14 mm creates a strong frame capable of withstanding significant mechanical loads during transportation and installation. UV stabilizers prevent material yellowing under sunlight, preserving the pristine white color throughout the 30-35 year service life.
Moisture resistance of polystyrene makesinstallation of decorative cornices made of polystyreneAL75 is a universal solution for any room. Water absorption coefficient does not exceed 1.7 percent after 24 hours of full immersion in water, preventing deformation even under extreme humidity. The product maintains stable geometric dimensions at relative air humidity ranging from 10 to 98 percent, allowing use in any climatic zone.
Polystyrene's temperature stability ensures flawless operation in the range from minus 40 to plus 80 degrees Celsius. The cornice does not crack in cold and does not deform in heat. The linear thermal expansion coefficient is 0.07 mm/m per degree, which at a plank length of 2000 millimeters results in a size change of only 0.14 mm over a 20-degree temperature variation, practically eliminating thermal deformations.
Mechanical strength of the volumetric profile is achieved through an optimized molecular structure of high-density polystyrene. The bending strength limit is 2.6-3.0 MPa, ensuring product reliability.Cornices Barnaul polystyreneAL75 withstands moderate mechanical loads without dents or cracks due to increased wall thickness of the profile.
The ecological safety of polystyrene is confirmed by international quality certificates ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and sanitary-hygienic conclusions from Russian regulatory bodies. The material contains no toxic components, formaldehyde, phenols, heavy metals or volatile organic compounds. The hypoallergenic nature of the material allows using cornices in residential spaces, medical facilities, educational institutions without restrictions.
Universal application in upscale interiors
Spacious living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.9-3.2 meters represent the ideal application sphere for the AL75 cornice. Rooms with areas of 25-40 square meters benefit from installing a volumetric profile 76 mm high and 50 mm wide, which creates a powerful architectural accent matching the scale of the space.Barnaul polystyrene decorative corniceAL75 harmoniously combines with classic furniture, creating a respectable frame for upscale interiors.
Country houses and cottages with non-standard ceiling heights of 3.0-3.5 meters require expressive decorative elements of corresponding scale. The AL75 cornice creates a noticeable architectural accent, visually structuring the space of large rooms. The volumetric profile emphasizes the status of country real estate, forming a sense of solidity and reliability.
Lobbies and vestibules of premium-class multi-apartment buildings with high ceilings use the AL75 cornice to create a respectable atmosphere in public spaces. The volumetric profile forms an impression of reliability and quality, matching the expectations of premium-class residents.Barnaul polystyrene cornice purchasefor decorating public areas becomes a cost-effective solution for developers.
Restaurants and banquet halls with requirements for presentation use the AL75 cornice to create a festive atmosphere. The volumetric profile emphasizes the status of the establishment, forming expectations of high service quality among visitors. The pristine white color of the cornice creates an impression of cleanliness and well-maintained premises.
Negotiation rooms and offices of large companies usePlinth cornices from polystyrene foamAL75 to create a representative atmosphere. The volumetric profile forms an impression of business solidity and success, which is important during negotiations with partners and clients.
Premium-class medical centers use the AL75 cornice to create a comfortable atmosphere in premium rooms, doctors' offices, and lobbies. The volumetric profile forms an impression of reliability and quality of medical services. The ecological safety of the material ensures compliance with sanitary norms for medical facilities.
Professional technology for installing volumetric profiles
Surface preparation before installing the AL75 cornice requires special attention due to the increased weight and dimensions of the product. The installation area is cleaned of dust, grease, and remnants of old coatings using a dry brush and damp sponge. Loose plaster areas are mechanically removed with a wide putty knife until a solid base is reached. Depressions deeper than 5 millimeters are filled with gypsum putty and leveled to match the main surface plane.
The surface is treated with a deep-penetration primer such as Ceresit ST17 to strengthen the surface layer and improve adhesive bond. The primer is applied in one layer at a consumption rate of 150-200 grams per square meter and dries within 2-4 hours.
Installation line marking is performed using a laser level to ensure the profile is strictly horizontal. From the ceiling, the distance equal to the cornice height (76 mm) minus the compensatory gap (7-9 mm) is marked. Control points are marked every 500-600 mm and connected by a continuous line.
Corner joints are cut using a saw with a carbide disc or a miter box with 45-degree slots. For internal corners, the strips are cut from opposite sides to ensure tight end-to-end fit. The cuts are sanded with fine P120 grit sandpaper to remove burrs.
The mounting adhesive of enhanced formula, type 'liquid nails' for polystyrene, is applied to the back of the cornice in a continuous wavy stripe. Due to the increased weight, more adhesive is required compared to standard cornices. After a 2-3 minute wait, the strip is pressed against the wall with even pressure along its entire length. The cornice is secured with painter's tape attached to the ceiling and temporarily supported by temporary braces for 6-8 hours until the adhesive begins to set.
Additional mechanical fixation with self-tapping screws is recommended for volumetric cornices in rooms with high ceilings. Screws 50-60 mm long are screwed into the wall through the cornice at 400-500 mm intervals. Screw heads are countersunk and masked with acrylic putty. After the adhesive has set, screws can be removed if the base is sufficiently strong.
Decorative possibilities and economic efficiency
The universal white color of the AL75 cornice is an ideal base for implementing classic design concepts. The monumentality of the profile is especially striking in monochromatic interiors, where the snowy white cornice creates a powerful architectural accent. The relief structure of the profile forms deep shadows, emphasizing the decor's volume.
Painting in classic colors opens up possibilities for creating dignified interiors. Gold or silver finish imitates expensive metallic moldings typical of palace interiors. Patination creates an effect of noble antiquity. Contrasting coloring of relief elements highlights the architectural profile.
The cost of the polystyrene cornice AL75 is 1100 rubles per 2-meter strip, which is 4-6 times lower than the price of gypsum molding of similar size. Wooden cornices made of solid oak with comparable dimensions cost 3500-5000 rubles per linear meter. The savings when decorating a spacious 100-square-meter apartment compared to traditional materials amount to 20,000-35,000 rubles.
Transportation of polystyrene cornices does not require special transport due to the material's lightness. A package of 10-12 strips weighs 4-5 kilograms and can be transported in a regular car. The logistics savings amount to 3000-5000 rubles when decorating large-scale projects.
The cornice AL75 POLYSTYRENE HI WOOD 76mm x 50mm x 2.0m represents a classic solution from a South Korean manufacturer for rooms with high ceilings, where a striking volumetric decoration is required, combining the monumentality of the profile with the practicality of modern materials and affordable cost to create status interiors.
