Reconstruction of the Alexander Palace

12

For three years, Stavros has been engaged in large-scale restoration work under the project to reconstruct the lost interiors of the Alexander Palace in Tsarskoye Selo. The task was to restore the furnishings of the rooms based on amateur photographs by members of the imperial family of Nicholas II, autochromes from 1917, and limited samples of decorative elements, 'scattered' among museums in St. Petersburg. This large-scale restoration work has drawn wide public attention to the unique capabilities of the Company, which has authentically revived masterpieces of furniture and interior art by the Meltzer factory — officially recognized suppliers to the imperial court.

Stavros Company’s masters carried out the full cycle of work, including design development, sculpting, manufacturing, painting, and installation.

Today, thanks to our significant contribution to the recreation of the country residence of the last members of the Romanov family, the Alexander Palace has once again regained its former splendor.
