Opening of the Alexander Palace

18

In 2018, we were entrusted with the recreation of the lost interiors of four rooms of the Alexander Palace: the Bedroom, the Lilac Study, the Rosewood Room, and the Maple Parlor, as well as seven double-door sections connecting these rooms.

Our task was to restore the furnishings of the rooms 'from scratch'.

The work was based on amateur photographs of members of the imperial family, autochromes from 1917, limited samples of decorative elements, 'scattered' across various museums in St. Petersburg, and working projects.

In spring 2020, we completed the project. Today, everyone can stroll through the newly renovated halls of the beloved country residence of the last members of the Romanov family in Tsarskoye Selo.
