More than 20 years on the market
The company's success began in 2002, when two artists — Andrey Ragozin and Evgeny Tsapko — created a small creative workshop for producing wooden carved items. The masters' work was quickly noticed, and within a year they were invited to participate in the reconstruction of the Konstantinovskiy Palace in Strelna.
After the success of this project, the company focused on recreating palace interiors, furniture, church furnishings, and carved decorations in various artistic styles. They worked with cultural heritage sites: The Hermitage, the Alexandrovsky Palace, the Troitsko-Izmaylovsky Cathedral, the Sheremetyevsky Mansion, and many others.
The masters' task — and still is — to create wooden items with the highest level of detail and understanding of every element, based on impeccable knowledge of artistic laws and interior styles.

Atlas HL-071 Furniture Handle: premium hardware made of solid wood
The Atlas HL-071 furniture handle is an exclusive solution for admirers of natural materials and geometric aesthetics in interior design. The item is a vertical composition of nine wooden spheres connected by a sturdy metal rod, creating an expressive rhythm and visual dynamics on any furniture facade. ThisHandle from solid woodis crafted from premium wood species — beech and oak, and three finish options (Prestige, Under Enamel, Under Staining) allow adapting the hardware to any style — from Scandinavian minimalism to classic elegance.
Technical Specifications
The Atlas HL-071 handle features thoughtful geometry and standardized dimensions. The overall length of the item is 240 mm, the width of the spherical elements is 28 mm, and the protrusion height is 45 mm.Center-to-center distanceof mounting 160 mm conforms to international furniture hardware standards and allows replacing old handles without re-drilling holes. This size is optimal for facades 450–600 mm wide and ensures visual harmony.
Structurally, the handle consists of nine wooden spheres with a 28 mm diameter, mounted on a stainless steel rod with an 8–10 mm thickness. Mounting is done via two M4 or M5 screws, which are screwed from the inside of the facade and securely fix the structure without visible elements. The total weight of one handle is 90–120 grams. The 45 mm protrusion height ensures comfortable grip and ergonomic operation when opening cabinets, chests, and kitchen units.
Wood species
Advantages of Beech
European beech is one of the most sought-after wood species in productionwooden furniture handlesdue to its unique combination of strength, workability, and aesthetic properties. The density of beech wood is 650–680 kg/m³, ensuring high wear resistance and longevity under intensive use. Beech has a uniform, fine-grained structure with barely noticeable texture, allowing for perfectly smooth spherical surfaces after turning.
The color palette ranges from light cream to pink-beige tones, giving the handle warmth and natural appeal. Beech is exceptionally suitable for all mechanical processing — resulting in perfectly round spheres without chips or cracks. The material bonds well and holds fasteners securely, which is crucial for reliable fixation of the metal rod. Beech wood easily takes stains and dyes, accepting any shade — from light bleached to dark wenge. After lacquer or oil treatment, beech acquires a noble silk-like sheen and becomes resistant to moisture and stains.
Oak: Symbol of Strength
European oak is considered an elite wood species with a density of 690–720 kg/m³ and a distinct coarse-grained texture, creating a noble visual effect. A distinctive feature of oak is clearly visible annual rings and radial rays, forming a beautiful pattern with golden or silver hues. The color range spans from light honey to dark brown tones with a characteristic gray-brown undertone.Furniture handles made of oakemphasize the status and respectability of the interior, creating a sense of solidity.
Oak wood possesses natural biostability due to high tannin content, which protects the material from rot, mold, and fungi. This makes oak hardware an ideal choice for high-humidity areas — kitchens, bathrooms, hallways. The material has low thermal conductivity, so handles remain comfortable to the touch regardless of ambient temperature. Over time, oak develops a noble patina — the surface darkens and becomes more saturated, adding a vintage charm to the item. When treated with oil or lacquer, the oak texture reveals itself fully, creating a three-dimensional effect of depth.
Finishing options
Prestige
The 'Prestige' finish option implies a multi-layer coating with high-quality water-based polyurethane or acrylic lacquers, creating a durable protective film 40–60 microns thick. The technology includes preliminary sanding, priming, and application of 2–3 layers of finish lacquer. The result is a perfectly smooth surface with a noble semi-matte or satin sheen, which highlights the natural wood texture.Wooden handles with 'Prestige' finishexhibit enhanced resistance to moisture, UV radiation, scratches, and household chemicals.
The finish is available in several color options — natural, honey, walnut, wenge. Beech is characterized by light and medium tones, while oak features more contrasting shades with pronounced texture. Lacquer coating prevents moisture penetration into the wood, preventing deformation. Handles with 'Prestige' finish are easily cleaned with a damp cloth and require no special care. The coating lifespan under proper use is 10–15 years, after which restoration is possible.
Under Enamel
The 'Under Enamel' option opens up vast possibilities for color customization, allowing to colorWooden handlesthe surface in any shade of the RAL or NCS palette. Surface preparation includes thorough sanding and application of adhesive primer. Enamel coating is applied in 2–3 layers, completely hiding the wood texture and creating a perfectly smooth matte, semi-matte, or glossy surface.
Classic solutions — white enamel for Scandinavian and Provence interiors, black for loft and minimalism, gray for modern styles. Pastel shades — mint, powder pink, blue — are popular for children’s rooms. Rich colors — emerald, sapphire, burgundy, mustard — create vibrant accents for eclectic interiors. Enamel handles can be paired with facades in matching or contrasting tones. The coating is resistant to abrasion and retains color vibrancy for many years.
Under Staining
The 'Under Staining' option implies thatwooden surfaceprepared for applying pigmented compositions — stains, colored oils, semi-transparent finishes. Staining changes the wood's color palette while preserving the visibility of the natural grain and growth rings. The technology allows mimicking expensive exotic woods — coloring light beech to walnut, mahogany, or wenge, giving oak a rich cognac or graphite tone.
Design and stylistic versatility
Design and stylistic universality
DesignAtlas HL-071 furniture handleThe design is based on the principles of geometric minimalism, where nine perfectly round spheres create visual dynamics and sculptural expressiveness. Vertical orientation makes facades appear taller and more elegant, which is especially important for compact spaces. The spherical shape is associated with natural forms and perceived as organic. Natural wood softens the rigidity of geometry, introducing warmth and tactile comfort.
The model harmoniously fits into a wide range of interior styles. In Scandinavian interiors, light beech handles emphasize the philosophy of coziness and naturalness. In modern minimalism, dark oak or black enamel versions create graphic accents. In eco-style, natural wood textures enhance the connection with nature. In loft interiors, dark stained handles add warmth and contrast. In classic interiors, oak handles with "Prestige" finish emphasize respectability.
Application in interior design
Kitchen
In the kitchenAtlas HL-071 wooden furniture handlesbecome stylish functional accents. For kitchen facades 450–600 mm wide, a 160 mm center-to-center distance is optimal in terms of proportions. Handles are installed on wall-mounted cabinets, base cabinets, and drawers. Natural wood pairs excellently with wooden countertops, laminate surfaces mimicking wood, and stone countertops.
It is recommended to choose models with protective "Prestige" lacquer or oil-wax finish, which create a barrier against grease and moisture. Handles are easily cleaned with a soft damp cloth. The tactile wooden surface does not chill the hand and does not slip. Combining with open shelves made of solid wood and natural textiles enhances the natural aesthetic of the space.
Bedroom and closet
In the bedroomWooden handlesemphasize the atmosphere of coziness and harmony. The Atlas HL-071 model is ideal for wardrobe doors, chests, bedside tables, and vanity tables. On tall cabinets, vertical handle orientation emphasizes ceiling height and makes furniture appear lighter. For classic bedrooms, oak handles with natural finish are recommended; for modern ones — light beech or enamel finishes.
In closets, you can equip all facades with identical handles, creating a rhythmic composition. The convenience of 28-mm spherical handles allows easy opening of doors. Natural wood does not generate static electricity and does not attract dust. Combining wooden hardware with leather inserts and natural textiles creates a harmonious environment.
Living Room
In the living roomAtlas HL-071 furniture handlesdecorate buffets, sideboards, display cabinets, TV cabinets, and secretaries. Natural wood brings warmth, softening the rigidity of modern technology. For classic living rooms, oak handles with transparent lacquer finish are recommended; for modern ones — light beech or black enamel. Combining with wooden elements — tables, consoles, shelves — creates stylistic unity.
Children's room
In the children's roomwooden hardware— a safe and eco-friendly choice, free of sharp edges. Rounded spherical elements reduce the risk of injury. Natural wood does not emit toxic substances and is hypoallergenic. For children's furniture, you can choose bright enamel handles or light natural ones. The spherical shape is intuitively understandable for children and convenient for small hands. Handles can be used as an educational element — counting spheres, learning colors.
In the hallway and bathroom
In the hallwayWooden handleson built-in cabinets create a welcoming atmosphere. Dark oak or stained handles are practical and do not stain, while light ones create a sense of spaciousness. Vertical shape visually raises the ceiling. Natural wood does not cool, so touch is comfortable.
In the bathroom, using wooden hardware is possible provided it has adequate moisture protection. Atlas HL-071 handles with multi-layer lacquer finish create a reliable barrier. It is recommended to choose oak models, as oak has natural moisture resistance. Natural wood brings a spa atmosphere and coziness.
Ergonomics and installation
Ergonomic characteristicsAtlas HL-071 handlesare designed for comfortable grip. The diameter of spherical elements, 28 mm, is optimal for finger grip. The protrusion height of 45 mm allows fingers to fit freely, ensuring a secure grip. Vertical placement of nine spheres provides multiple grip points depending on the user's height. Tactile sensations from natural wood are more pleasant than from metal. Wood has low thermal conductivity — it does not heat up in summer and does not chill the hand in winter.
Installation requires a minimal set of tools: drill, 4–5 mm drill bits, ruler, pencil, screwdriver. Measure the facade width and calculate hole positions using the formula: X = (Width − 160) / 2. Drill strictly perpendicular to the surface. Insert screws from the inside, place the handle, and tighten screws gradually, alternately. The handle should be firmly pressed without play.
Maintenance and restoration
Care forwooden handlesCleaning is simple. Wipe the surface with a soft dry microfiber cloth to remove dust. For stains, use a slightly damp cloth with a mild soap solution, then dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive sponges or aggressive chemical cleaners. For additional protection, periodically treat the surface with wood polishes or oils.
With prolonged use, complete restoration is possible — removing handles and renewing the finish. The process includes removing the old finish by sanding, applying a new finish in 2–3 layers, and reinstallation. Restoration allows a complete visual refresh, changing the stain color, and extending service life for decades. The ability for multiple renewals is a key advantage.of solid woodbefore plastic or metal hardware.
Advantages of natural wood
Solid wood handles— an eco-friendly and safe choice, free of toxic substances. Wood is a renewable natural resource. Producing wooden hardware requires less energy and generates fewer emissions compared to metal or plastic. Natural wood does not emit harmful substances, which is critical for allergy sufferers. Wooden hardware contributes to a healthy microclimate — wood regulates air humidity.
Properly treated wooden hardware lasts for decades. The high density of beech and oak ensures resistance to mechanical damage. Quality mounting prevents loosening. Unlike plastic handles, wooden ones can be restored multiple times. Minor damages are easily repaired with localized treatment. The ability to change the finish color allows adapting old hardware to a new interior design.
Each solid wood handle is unique due to its distinctive wood grain pattern and texture. Natural variability creates a lively organic aesthetic. The buyer receives not a mass-produced standardized product, but a unique piece. The option to choose the wood species and finish allows creating hardware that precisely matches the owner’s taste.
The Atlas HL-071 furniture handle made of beech or oak solid wood is a combination of natural beauty, geometric expressiveness, functionality, and durability. Nine wooden spheres create a rhythmic composition that decorates any furniture. Three finish options open up wide possibilities for adapting to any interior style. Natural wood ensures eco-friendliness, safety, tactile comfort, and uniqueness.Choosing wooden hardware, you invest in quality, durability, and natural aesthetics that never go out of style.
